That's it from our coverage of the Second ODI of the ongoing three match series between Ireland and South Africa. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Good night!
Temba Bavuma(South Africa Captain): "My elbow is not good. I have a couple of rest days and I will consult the doctor meanwhile.

Stubbs was really mature in his stay. We tried to take the advantage of the first 10 overs and did that. Stubbs was matured and Kyle was good too. We have recovered from the previous game in some aspect.

The theme of this tour and Afghanistan tour was to give the youngsters to provide the opportunity to the guys. It is a good competition to have. It creates pressure on the incumbent ones too. The team is in a good touch."
Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain): "Yeah, it was a tough day at the office. We struggled to take wickets in the middle period again and didn’t get any at the start, which made it hard work.

Yeah, I don’t think our approach has changed much, to be honest. We tried to get through the new ball, which moved around a bit again, and we couldn’t quite manage that. We know that to chase a total like 340, we need partnerships and big scores, like South Africa did. It wasn’t about coming out all guns blazing, but we definitely needed to get past the 10s and 20s and push on to make bigger scores, which we couldn’t do.

Yeah, we've got two days of rest ahead. It’s going to be an important couple of days. Playing two games in three days is tough, but that’s part of professional and international cricket. Hopefully, we’ll come back stronger on Monday."
Tristan Stubbs(Player of the Match): "I thought that in the first game I got out playing a rash shot and today my focus was not letting that one happen. I wanted to build up a big partnership with Kyle and that paid off.

The ball was holding a bit so we decided to rotate the strike. Hitting through the big part of the ground was a tough job to do."
Player of the Match: Tristan Stubbs
Lizaad Williams (Impact Player of the Match): "It feels a bit downhill, with the energy and intensity directed at the batsman. I'm happy to contribute to the team. I got a bit emotional, and after taking the third wicket, I started thinking about getting five. (On his celebration) LeBron James (American professional basketball player) is my idol, and this is his move—it's called the silencer."
