Let's have a review of what happened in the match. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, skipper Stephen Eskinazi and Martin Andersson opened the innings for Middlesex. The duo added 108 runs for the first wicket before Andersson was dismissed for 57 from 34 balls. Eskinazi missed out his half century by just two runs as he scored 48 from 29 balls. Ryan Ryan Higgins and Luke Hollman were the other two batters who crossed the single figure mark. While Higgins scored 18 from 16 balls and Hollman managed to get 17 from 12 balls. For Glamorgan, Timm van der Gugten and Mason Crane took three wickets each in the innings. Andy Gorvin picked two wickets and Daniel Douthwaite picked one wicket to restrict Middlesex to a score of 173/9 in 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 180, Glamorgan lost their first wicket on the very first ball of the innings as Eddie Byrom was dismissed for a duck. Skipper Kiran Carlson and Sam Northeast anchored the innings and added 79 runs for the second wicket. Carlson scored 54 from 24 balls while Northeast managed to add 67 runs from 45 balls. Chris Cooke played a quick fire knock of 21 from 15 balls. Colin Ingram added 10 runs from 8 balls and Daniel Douthwaite scored 11 from 6 balls towards the end of the innings to help their team win the match. For Middlesex, Henry Brookes was the pick of the bowlers who took 3/31 in 3 overs. Noah Cornwell, Josh De Caires, Ryan Higgins and Luke Hollman picked one wicket each in the innings.
