That's it from this T20 Blast game between Derbyshire and Lancashire. Stay tuned to our network for all other cricketing action across the globe and across formats. For now, this is Saipavan Janaki signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar and scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Have a great day!
Josh Bohannon (Lancashire): " It's been awesome. We are really happy, we have got a very good record here and to bounce back and a loss is really a good feeling. It's exciting, I have been around for a while in this setup and it's been fantastic. I have seen myself today, it's the game of the fine margin."
Chris Green (Lancashire): "Yeah lot of fun. If we keep playing on this wicket that would be really good. We had a really good start with the bat and had a formidable total on this wicket. I think we were class with the ball and in the field. Yeah. look in T20 cricket we talk about the team effort and we have done it today. I'm loving here especially when the sun is out and it's lovely to play in front of this crowd."
07.18 PM IST, 2.48 PM Local Time: Lancashire have secured their second victory in the T20 Blast with a comprehensive all-round performance. Their strong batting display, combined with effective bowling, ensured a well-deserved 57-run win against Derbyshire.

Earlier, Lancashire Lightning started strong with openers Josh Bohannon and Luke Wells building a 45-run partnership. Despite looking rusty, Wells held on until Daryn Dupavillon dismissed him on the last ball of the 5th over. Bohannon played commendably, scoring 39 runs before his departure. Lancashire then struggled to maintain momentum, losing wickets at regular intervals during the middle overs.

However, Tom Bruce and Matthew Hurst provided valuable contributions, scoring 35 and 27 runs respectively. Chris Green played crucial shots at the end, finishing unbeaten on 22 off 11 balls, helping Lancashire reach a total of 179 runs. For Derbyshire Falcons, Zak Chappell was the standout bowler with 3 wickets, while Patrick Brown chipped in with 2 wickets.

While chasing a target of 180 runs, Derbyshire's innings got off to a shaky start. They scored 48 runs in the first 6 overs but lost three wickets. Reece went cheaply for 6 runs, while Lloyd scored 10 before departing. Came added 26 runs off 22 balls before getting out.

Brooke Guest and Anuj Dal added 20 runs for the fifth wicket before Dal fell for 9. Ross Whiteley and Guest then built a partnership of 39 runs off 25 balls, with Whiteley departing for 11. Guest played a solid knock, scoring 42 runs off 32 balls before his dismissal.

After Guest's departure, Derbyshire's innings collapsed, and they were all out for 112 runs in 17.4 overs. For Lancashire, Chris Green was the standout bowler, picking up 4 wickets. Luke Wells took two wickets, while Thomas Aspinwall, Jack Blatherwick, and Mitchell Stanley each contributed with a wicket.

Stick around for the post-match presentation…
