For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Dwayne Bravo: "Yeah, very emotional. I said to Bish earlier, the boys were giving me a hard time that I'd cry today. I said no, I'm a big boy, but if the ceremony went on for five more seconds, I might've (cried). Lot of good memories over the years... Daren Bravo's last-ball six was special. We have a lot of good memories. This is one of our favourite grounds, playing for our fans right on top of us.
It was discussed and the captain (Pollard) had to officially give it a nod or it wasn't going to be possible (on the tribute). He'd have to be a real wicked man to say no, no? It was a great send off. Had two of my kids here, and my son watched a game of mine for the first time."
Kieron Pollard (Trinbago Knight Riders Captain): "Yes, obviously special. One of our locals playing for the final time. What a career Dwayne has had for all concerned, and to get the win for him is a special feeling.
He is my best friend. He is a trend setter for us all rounders and we look forward to tomorrow night.
It was a great game as well. Not the pitch right for stroke play. They lost 5 and we lost 4 wickets and then we recovered and both of us recovered.
I think we need to work on the areas that we have to. We want to do better and have a game tomorrow night.
The crowd is fantastic here. Have been lined up for two-three hours before and the support has been amazing for all of us today.
Let's see how the body of Bravo pulls up and see if he can play tomorrow."
Shai Hope (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "I don't really want to pinpoint things. It is always great to chase on this ground. To take the game to the last over was great to see. When he's striking it well, he's tough to stop. Without his innings, we'd have been way too short (on Romario Shepherd).
He's been out for a few games, hopefully he can bowl next time. Great to see him make an impact. We had a missed chance but that's cricket. We need to fight like this.
Just crucial moments of the game. Don't want to pinpoint fielding and bowling effort. This is always a big, big, big match, always a great game coming to play here.
Yeah, again. Like I said we played a good game. Really liked the way guys came out with the ball. It is cricket, not every day will be your day.
Our fans are everywhere. This is probably the only venue where you do not see many Warriors fans."
Andre Russell (Player of the Match): "It feels good to be back in the middle. I have been struggling with an ankle injury. These guys have been doing a great job to get me back on the park. When you work hard, you get good results.
The mindset was I know I can hit sixes. I know Tim David can hit sixes as well. I told David, let's try to hit 8 sixes and the rest of the balls we can just knock it over. DJ Bravo is a champion and he deserves it.
These things do happen, Guyana have a strong batting line-up and they got 150 odd. These kind of games, can help you in the back end of the tournament.
(He) Made me who I am today (On Bravo's contribution). I use to wicketkeep. Started batting at 7-8. Saw him bat for West Indies in Tests, fielding and diving, I am just happy to be part of this game. That's the reason why so much emotion behind that celebration, he has helped me a lot in my cricket. Helped me become smarter. We are going to miss him but I hope he is going to stay around with the team. This award is for DJ Bravo."
