Milestone
That's it from the coverage of this game. We will be back soon with more cricketing actions across the globe in our network and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Rovman Powell (Barbados Royals Captain): "I think when we came here and we knew it was a dry wicket and we decided to bowl first. Credit to the guys that we started well and middle overs they did well, but it happens.

Bowlers win tournament and batters win matches. We have a good overseas spinning contingent and pacers also are good.

I think the key moment was to send a left-hander early to push it around for a few overs and looked at the death bowling and knew we could get the runs in the end.

With Nyeem out there he showed his class towards the end. Thank You."
Andre Fletcher (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "I am happy. Our bowlers tried their best. Low-scoring contest, they did well. We were 10-15 short. Hasaranga the way he played was good to see, he got us back into the match.

There were soft dismissals. Sherfane's dismissal hurt us, he could have been smart to play out the bowler and target others. We knew they didn't have great death bowler. We want to be positive but have to be smart as well. I would say still young in the tournament.

It is up to the batters to give the bowlers a defendable total. We have to believe that we can do. There will be a winner and there will be a loser, we are at the losing side at the moment but have to take positives from these games as well."
Dunith Wellalage (Player of the Match): "I just try to play normal cricket and back myself. He (Rovman Powell) told me to play my normal game, you know he can hit big always.

So just wanted to support him. It feels good, they (Barbados Royals) have great bowlers, really happy to play with them."
Player of the Match: Dunith Wellalage
8:25 AM IST, 10:55 PM Local Time: What a game we have had here in Warner Park. The match went down to the wire but it is Nyeem Young who holds his nerve and hits a maximum off the penultimate ball of the match to finish the game. The Barbados Royals win this by 2 wickets with a ball to spare and make it 2 wins out of 2. Another heartbreak for the Patriots in front of their home ground.

Chasing a tricky 154 on a used surface, the Royals lost Rahkeem Cornwall early. Quinton de Kock scored 19 off 13 balls. Kadeem Alleyne scored 30 off 18 balls and looked good out there. Shamarh Brooks scored 11 off 15 balls and struggled out there. Dunith Wellalage looked good for his 39 off 32 balls before being run out. Captain Rovman Powell scored 19 off 19 balls. Jason Holder almost took his side with his 17 off 12 balls. But it was Nyeem Young's 17* off 7 balls that took his side over the line in the final over. 4 extras given by the fielding side.

Kyle Mayers was the pick of the bowlers for the Patriots with figures of 2/17 in 3 overs and did not bowl post the powerplay. A wicket apiece for Anrich Nortje, Wanindu Hasaranga, Veerasammy Permaul, and Ryan John. Permaul was miserly in his spell. But it was not enough to get them the win.

Earlier in the game, the Patriots got off to the worst possible start losing 3 wickets for 0 runs. The top 3 were back in the hut. They recovered through a 82-run stand between Wanindu Hasaranga and Mikyle Louis. Hasaranga made 40 off 27 balls while Louis made 30 off 20 balls. Ryan John made a great cameo of 29 off 14 balls in the end while Josh Clarkson laboured his way to get to 24* off 32 balls. 21 extras contributed to the score of 153/8 in 20 overs.

Dunith Wellalage was the pick of the bowlers with 3/35 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for 16 runs in 4 overs for Maheesh Theekshana. A couple of wickets for Obed McCoy as well.

So, Barbados Royals win this by 2 wickets and climb upto 2nd in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.
19.5 R John to N Young
6 SIXX!!! Young finishes things off in style. He punches the air in delight and lets out a huge roar. Barbados get out of jail here. John bowls it full and in the slot. Misses the yorker by a few inches. Young clears his front leg and thumps it down the ground for a flat six to get the two points for Barbados Royals.
