That’s it from our coverage of this thrilling contest between two evenly matched sides. The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons held their nerves to secure their first win of the season. TKR would be kicking themselves as it was a chasable total and they failed to get over the line.

This is Ajay Pal Singh signing off on behalf of my colleagues AkshayaKrishna Polya and Ashok Dayma, who brought you all the live action from this game. Cricketing action never stops with Crex—switch tabs to follow other matches, including Day 2 of the India A vs India B Duleep Trophy clash.
Antigua & Barbuda Falcons are thanking their fans after their last home game. The players are having a winning lap with the flag of Antigua.
Kieron Pollard (Trinbago Knight Riders Captain): "It was a good game of cricket. In the end, we just fell short by 7 runs. We fought hard and I think, we were sloppy on the field, where we could have done better. Just feel we let ourselves down with the fielding.

It is about giving a couple of emerging talents an opportunity. Shaqkere Paris is there. He is elegant and plays classical way of cricket. He looked good. We also have Nathan Edwards. He is the produce of Under-19. We got two good ones.

We know games will come quickly when we go to Trinidad. We'll have a couple of days off, travel, rest, and then return to practice. It doesn't matter if we play consistently or inconsistently, we will be up for it."
Chris Green (Antigua & Barbuda Falcons Captain): "Immensely proud of the way we fought back. Four fielders in and then three in and then have to field with 10 players. It is great to see the team fought back the way we did. Luck was in our side tonight, good to get a win at home. Happy for our team and the fans.

As I said, hard to put it in words. It was very easy to be down and out after 0-4. But the way bowlers showed up a fight tonight was good to see. Amir, Primus had a tough time especially at the death overs. We are on the road now for 5 games, the equation is simple for us and just need to apply the knowledge."
Fabian Allen (POTM): "(On the win) Oh my god! We were searching for that win and were happy to get it tonight. I am ready to bat up the order, but wherever the team needs me to bat, I am happy to do so.

(On Pooran's dismissal) When you take such catches, especially of the best T20 batter in the world, you have to celebrate and I am grateful that I could take it.

I just wanted to bowl in the right areas and get the results. We were looking for 180, but 170-odd is good on this wicket, and we defended well.

(Speaking about crowd) I am grateful for the crowd; they supported us right through."

8:11 AM IST & 10:41 PM Local Time: Roshon Primus is the hero for the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, successfully defending 12 runs in the final over to secure their first win after four defeats. TKR were choked in the middle by some brilliant bowling by the Falcons as they played 53 dot balls in their innings. The Falcons got a red card and had to bowl the last over with just 10 fielders on the field but they held their nerves and got over the line.

Earlier in the match, Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and opted to bowl first. Fakhar Zaman and Justin Greaves gave the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons a flyign start as they scored 65 runs inside the powerplay. Greaves perished on the penultimate ball of powerplay.

Fakhar Zaman made 38 off 26 but the pressure from the end created by Roshon Primus, who struggled to get the big hits away, got to him as he perished trying to up the ante.

Imad Wasim played a fine knock of 46 off 29 and a cameo by Fabian Allen down the order, an unbeaten 25 off 11, helped the Falcons to post their highest total of the season - 176/6 from 20 overs.

In reply, Sunil Narine departed for a four-ball duck. Andries Gous made 39 off 33 and Shaqreke Parris gave him good support with a knock of 31 off 28.

Nicholas Pooran fell for a golden duck but Keacy Carty and Kieron Pollard added 63 off 29 for the 5th wicket.

The lower order failed to get the big hits away under pressure and they fell short by 6 runs in the end.

Fabian Allen was the star with the ball, taking 3/23. Roshon Primus picked up 2/40 from his four overs. Mohammad Amir, Chris Green and Shamar Springer chipped in with a wicket each. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
