Ravichandran Ashwin (Dindigul Dragons Captain): "Yes, qualification was never in doubt. Last 2 games we played well. Started the tournament slow and now we are fine. Shivam started well and went off the radar such is the format and we did well today. It was a 210 wicket. We were 10 short but we did well with the ball. Wickets were good and picking the right balls to hit. Maybe the defense of batters can be better. Loved the fan's support and here it's great. Thanking the fans to come in huge numbers to support us. They always do that in Dindigul."

Hari Nishaanth (Siechem Madurai Panthers Captain): "Seriously. Cannot do post mortem. Things were not going our way. The fielding let us down and no balls at the wrong time. Still we fought hard. Chasing 200 is hard. We fought well with the ball and could not sustain it. The left-right combination was working for now. The motivation will be there to finish on a high. Individuals will be expected to do well and they need to take responsibility. Lots of errors today in fielding and we have to address. The momentum was with them and we never could grab the momentum from them. They deserve the win."

Put to bat first, Dindigul Dragons posted a massive total 201/5 in their 20 overs. All their batters played with a positive intent and never let the bowlers settle. Shivam Singh was the highlight of the innings and remained unbeaten on 106* off just 57 balls.

With the ball, the Madurai bowlers were pretty ordinary and were expensive. Karthik Manikandan picked up 2 wickets but was a bit expensive. R Mithun was economical at the top and picked up a wicket to his name.

Coming to the chase, Lokeshwar was brilliant for Madurai at the top and played some positive cricket. He played a solid knock of 55 off 37. Apart from him, no other batter could convert their starts and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. P Saravanan was decent lower down the order and scored 22 off 13.

With the ball, the Dindigul Dragons were a bit expensive in the first half but were brilliant in the middle and death overs and picked up wickets in clusters. Sandeep Warrior and Skipper Ravi Chandean Ashwin were the top wicket takers for them and picked up 2 wickets each.
