That's it from our coverage of the 3rd and final ODI between Australia and Pakistan from the Optus stadium in Perth. Time for the trio of Akshay Bhide, Ninaad Dixit and scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar to sign off. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
The Pakistan side poses for pictures with the trophy! A well earned series win for the Asian side.
Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan Captain): "This is a special moment for me. We know our nation. They will be very happy. In the last three years, we didn't perform as their expectations.
If you win, it feels great. I just want to be the captain in the presentation and toss. I want everyone to contribute and happy with everyone's performance.
You have to give credit to all the bowlers. The Australian team is not an easy team. The bowlers adapted really well. Credit to the bowlers. I also want to give the credit to Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique for giving the stand in the last game as well as in this game which helped us chase down the total.
The fans always love. They always come in numbers to support us. Thank you to everyone."
Josh Inglis (Australia Captain): "Pretty disappointed to be honest. First 3 quarters of the game we were totally outplayed. Its all individual. All guys have different game plans but ultimately its up to yourself to get through the tough periods and put the pressure on the bowlers.
I would like to add a few more runs on the board to be honest but it was really good, a collective experience here at Perth but really disappointed with the result."
Haris Rauf (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): "First of all, thanks to dear Allah. It means a lot to Pakistan. We have been struggling a lot in the last few months. This victory means a lot for us.
We are playing for these fans and their love. Every time, they come out in numbers to support us. Thank you to all of them and all over the world.
To be honest, we were practising in the nets. When we landed here, all our bowlers were practicing together. We had good communication and that's important.
Everybody knows, Maxi is a superstar. Great to get him out. I was lucky to get him three wickets in the series."
