That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer Raju Khariya. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain): Yeah, we know she is going to bring consistency. She (Mooney) has been world number one in this format. Great person in the group. Bowlers did an outstanding job tonight.

I am not sure, I will be able to answer that. We will see if we have any niggles in the squad and decide on the game day."
Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "I think so. It's nice to get back on the field. Disappointed that we couldn't get across the line But we know it's hard to beat this Australian team.

We certainly thought that we could chase it down if we played good cricket shots. The wicket could get better with the dew around but failed to capitalize.

Amelia Kerr is brilliant. She is great with her stock balls and it was incredible to see her do her thing."
Ashleigh Gardner (Player of the Match): "Yeah good to be back. I think it is one of those things, a freak accident. Obviously Wareham and I got a bit too eager in the warm-up. Having a head collision is probably not common in cricket. It was just the protocols, making sure I am fine to play and I felt like I have been in a really good place in the last couple of days.

Yeah definitely, I think we played well. A few short with the bat there to be honest. Slipped a little bit with a few wickets in clusters in the middle. But on the flip side, our bowling was magnificent tonight. Everyone who got the ball in hand, did the job.

For the Sixers, I am but not when she (Amelia Kerr) is playing for the Kiwis. But yeah, she has her infamous wrong'un that clearly none of us picked tonight. She is one the key players with both bat and ball. Need to have a clear mindset coming up against someone of that quality."
Player of the Match: Ashleigh Gardner
5:48 PM IST, 10:18 PM Local Time: That’s it. Australia Women take an unassailable lead in the series. They beat the New Zealand Women by 29 runs to wrap up the three-match series with a game to go. After posting a below-par total on the board, the Southern Stars stepped up with the ball in hand and defended it successfully. The White Ferns will be disappointed with their effort as they fail to keep the series alive.

Chasing 143, New Zealand Women got off to a steady start. The Australian bowlers bowled beautifully with the new ball and didn’t allow Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer to get away. Plimmer got cleaned up on nine right after the powerplay. It was a short stay for Amelia Kerr at three as she got trapped in front of the stumps on six. Bates scored a run-a-ball 34 before getting dismissed in the 11th over.

Skipper Sophie Devine looked scratchy and fell after scoring four off 10 balls. Things fell apart for the White Ferns as the innings progressed. They kept falling behind the required run rate. No substantial contributions from the lower-order batters and the visitors ended their innings on 113/7 to lose the game by 29 runs. Ashleigh Gardner bowled a brilliant spell on her return to the side and registered figures of 3/17 in her four overs.

Earlier, Australia Women won the toss and elected to bat first. Beth Mooney, who was playing her 100th T20I, fell cheaply on 10. Skipper Alyssa Healy was joined by Ellyse Perry at the cease. Healy played some wonderful strokes and scored 38 off 25 balls before falling in the 10th over. Perry was cautious and scored a 33-ball 34 before getting run out. New Zealand Women pulled back things after sending back both the set batters.

The visitors bowled beautifully and kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Apart from Ashleigh Gardner (18), none of their middle-order or lower-order batters managed to get to double digits as they got bundled out on 142 in 19.3 overs. Amelia Kerr bowled an exceptional spell for New Zealand Women and registered figures of 4/20 in her four overs. The New Zealand batters then faltered in the chase and fell short by 29 runs.
