That's it. Thank you for joining us! On behalf of my co-commentators Deepak and Gourav, and scorers Dushyant and Bishal, I, Sidharth, say goodbye! Cheers!
Kusal Mendis (Sri Lanka Skipper): "I want to congratulate Wanindu (Hasaranga). He was exceptional. We did well to restrict them (Bangladesh) to around 280. Full credit to Pathum (Nissanka) and Charith (Asalanka) for their batting displays. I'm confident of a good show in the series-decider."
Pathum Nissanka (Player of the Match): "After the three wickets fell, Charith and I decided to bat normally and looking at the score on the board and build a partnership. Initially, our priority was to settle down. Once we felt comfortable, we decided that one of us should take on the bowling."
Player of the Match: Pathum Nissanka
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Skipper): "Towhid (Hridoy) batted well and so did Soumya (Sarkar). Soumya should have batted longer. We need big scores from the batters. We would be eyeing improvements in the decider."
Time for the post-match presentation....
21:55 IST and 22:25 Local Time | Dunith Wellalage plays the winning stroke and Sri Lanka register a win in the second ODI and level the series 1-1. They chased down the target of 287 in 47.1 overs with three wickets remaining. It’s now down to the third and final match to decide the winner of the series.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, Bangladesh lost an early wicket in just the third delivery of the innings. Litton Das was dismissed without scoring any runs. Soumya Sarkar was then joined by Najmul Hossain Shanto at the crease. The pair compiled a partnership of 75 runs for the second wicket before Soumya Sarkar was dismissed for 68 runs from 66 deliveries. Subsequently, Bangladesh found themselves at 189/6 when Towhid Hridoy took charge of anchoring the innings. He, along with Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Taskin Ahmed, executed some impressive strokes to steer Bangladesh to a total of 286/7 in 50 overs. Towhid emerged as the highest scorer for the home team, remaining unbeaten on 96 runs from 102 balls.

For Sri Lanka, Wanindu Hasaranga was the pick of the bowlers who took 4/45. He was well assisted by Dilshan Madushanka who took 2/30 and Pramod Madushan who chipped in with one wicket.

Chasing a target of 287 runs, Sri Lanka encountered an early setback as Avishka Fernando was dismissed in the second delivery of the innings. He was subsequently followed by Kusal Mendis (16) and Sadeera Samarawickrama (1), both of whom failed to contribute significant runs to the team's total. When the match seemed to be turning in favor of the Bangladesh team, Pathum Nissanka and Charith Asalanka initiated a partnership, contributing 185 runs for the fourth wicket, which shifted the momentum away from the home team. Despite Sri Lanka again losing three wickets and being reduced to 251/6 in 41.1 overs, Dunith Wellalage and Wanindu Hasaranga stabilized the innings in the end, enabling Sri Lanka to secure a victory and level the series 1-1.

For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam picked two wickets each while Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took one wicket each to put Sri Lankan batsman in some kind of pressure during the run chase.
