That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Paras Yadav. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Jemimah Rodrigues (Player of the Match): "I think more than my batting, happy with the win. MI is a really good team, so we had to give our best. We really had to bring our A-game in this match, and I'm proud to say we did just that.

The pitch wasn't the easiest, but it actually suited my style of batting, especially when the ball keeps low. Our team environment is fantastic; I feel free to express myself on the field. After the Test series, I took some time to work on areas I needed to improve for the WPL. It's crucial to keep evolving and stay ahead of the game by learning from past mistakes and constantly challenging yourself to outsmart the bowlers."
Player of the Match: Jemimah Rodrigues
Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Women Captain): "Yeah, it was a good game for us. We want to keep improving. We have been playing good cricket and certainly feels good to get a win against a quality team.

Having a set batter till the end works very well. We lost a few quick wickets which wasn't ideal but we recovered. But it was nice to get to that total. We felt like we were at par with the score. The ball was staying a bit low. We killed the game early by picking early wickets."
Sixes of the Match: Jemimah Rodrigues (3 sixes)
Electric Striker of the Match: Shafali Verma
Time for the post-match presentation....

Jess Jonassen: “I think, tonight, our batters set up nicely and it made our job easier. Had the cushion of runs at the back end of the innings. I’ll take anything I get. It comes with the experience. Played a lot of games and I love coming and playing in India. Assess the conditions. It has worked in the last three games and nice to contribute to Delhi Capitals’ victories. With five overs to go, a couple of us sitting on the sidelines were looking at 190. We know the Mumbai Indians have a quality batting line-up and we knew we had to get a good total. Jemi played a very good knock and I also played a significant role in giving her the strike (laughs).”

Jess Jonassen is now the Purple Cap Holder.
