Milestone
That’s all from this one-sided contest, folks! Afghanistan won by 117 runs to clinch the 3-match series 2-0, with one game being washed out due to rain. Now, both sides will face each other in a 3-match T-20I series starting on 15th March.

For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentators Ninaad Dixit and Sidharth Gulati, along with scorer/analysts Zeeshan Naiyer and Raju Khariya. CHEERS!
Shahidi receives the series trophy! AFGHANISTAN win the 3-match series 2-0 by defeating Ireland in the 1st and 3rd ODIs. 2nd ODI was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain.
Hashmatullah Shahidi (Afghanistan Captain): "Very happy for the performance of our team. I congratulate my team for the series win. Stirling and Campher were playing good.

I knew that the wicket was not easy to bat. I trusted the spinners. I brought Nabi and he did it for the team along with Nangeyalia.

We lost back to back wickets and unluckily Azmat got run out. Me and Nabi wanted to take the game deep till at least 45th over and that's what put good momentum in the team.

It was the same pitch as first ODI. In our batting the pitch was slower as compared to the last game. The spinners' deliveries weren't coming on the bat well. Our spinners bowled well in the right areas.

Nabi is an amazing player and as a senior guy he always contribute in batting and bowling also in fielding he is an inspiration for the other players."
Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain): "Yeah, I think we were a lot better than the other day. We discussed it a bit, and 230 seemed to be in the ballpark of what we could chase. I think as a bowling group, they've grown over the last couple of months. So we were pretty happy with today's performance. And I think they dragged it back from the other day, where 300 plus was probably a good bit too much here.

I think we were in such a good position and then I seemed to throw my wicket away on 50, and that will seem to be when we went downhill. So it's something we'll think about over the next couple of days.

I know in 50-over cricket we don't have much coming up until the middle of summer, so we have a bit of time to think about it. But I think soon after tonight, we'll put that behind us and focus on the T20 and the World Cup coming up. In the first game, there was a significant amount of dew, but certainly with the wind today it didn't come in as much and that probably cost us."
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Player of the Series): "I think it was a good series for me and our team as well. I'm feeling a bit disappointed with my batting today since I have gotten settled. However, it's thrilling to be part of the team's victory. I'm always striving to improve and make a positive impact. I want to dedicate this award to Nangeyalia and wish him all the best for his future."
Player of the Series: Rahmanullah Gurbaz
Mohammad Nabi (Player of the Match): "Really happy to perform in those conditions. Happy to finally take a 5-wicket haul after a long career.

I bowled just my line and lengths. In the first over I was hit for a six by Stirling. In the next over I put mid off back and then he hit it straight to the fielder. I wanted to help my team put a big total on the board with the bat in hand."
Player of the Match: Mohammad Nabi
