Aiden Markram (South Africa Captain): "Very grateful to get the win. Don't think we were near our best tonight. We would have a lot to reflect in the next couple of days.
We want to back our strengths. Bowling in the right areas could get something off the wicket and that troubled the batters. Lot of credit goes out to the bowlers tonight.
The way they bowled, they put us under a lot of pressure. They have a good quality in their side. Our intensity was a bit low. Its about backing plans.
The conditions change a lot in the Caribbean. We have to assess it early and then develop the plans. Looking forward to the next few games.
Shamsi has come out of injury a few months ago so it was an opportunity to give him a go today. We would play 2 spinners in the hindsight. We wanted to give some game time to Shamsi, that was the thought process behind the swap with Keshav."
Rohit Paudel (Nepal Captain): "Yeah, I am very proud of our bowlers. When we saw the wicket yesterday, we thought it will be on the slower side.
It went really well when were bowling, it was turning a bit and when we introduced our spinners. Then I brought on Kushal Burthel and then we carried on with spinners.
We came close but in the end still too far. In the crunch moment, we didn't do well. But this exposure will help to be on the other side of the result next time.
I want to thank them (fans traveling 1000s of km to support the team) for supporting us. Even during rains they come and support us. I want to thank them and really grateful to them."
Tabraiz Shamsi (Player of the match): "Yeah, definitely relieved. We came here with goal of finishing four out of four. It got a bit too tense but great to see team standing up.
I knew there will be turn when we get to the West Indies but our pacers bowled well in the USA.
The wicket got a bit better in the second innings, they took advantage and played a great game.
Look, the huge positive is we've been put under huge pressure every time and we've come out on top. It is good going towards the business end of the tournament. We are just going to take it one match at a time."
