So that marks the end of our coverage from the final group stage game of this edition's SA20. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Good night.
Patrick Kruger (Player of the Match)- "I just tried to keep calm and backed my abilities and then I was lucky enough that the things were good for me. I just had some personal issues and I worked a lot with my coaches and worked to enhance my game finishing abilities. I didn't have a big game plan, just went there and hit the balls. I am excited for the play-offs."
Player of the Match- Patrick Kruger
Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Eastern Cape Captain)- "Not 100% sure about the reason of our consistency but I can say that we have executed well in the correct and crucial places. The game was moving away and we tried to take the game deep as far as we can and sometimes it is not the most exciting brand of cricket but we have to do it to get the things going. A big game is coming up and it is fantastic to appear in the play-off against a great team. I appreciate the noise and the support of the crowd."
David Miller (Paarl Royals Captain)- "We have lost a few games but I think it is a great game for us. Obviously there are places where we can do well. We have a lot of young seamers and they have bowled in right areas. I am very happy with their performance. I think doing the right thing at the right places will be the key for the knockouts. I think we have to stay in the game as long as we can and we should regroup and think of our weak points."
Time for the post match presentations.
23:05 IST and 19:35 Local Time | The Men-in-Orange are going to appear for the qualifier 1 with a convincing victory. They will have some confidence from this win.

Coming to bat first, Paarl side lost Jason Roy for just 8. But Jos Buttler and Mitchell Van Buuren took the onus from there. Buttler hit 4 boundaries and a couple of maximums on his way to 38. After his departure, Van Buuren got out suffering an unfortunate run out on 14. Skipper David Miller also didn't contribute much and got out for 11. Dane Vilas and Wihan Lubbe stitched a partnership of 49 runs off 38 balls before Lubbe got out for 27. Vilas scored useful 34 runs off 25 balls hitting 4 boundaries. Andile Phehlukwayo remained unbeaten on 16 and Paarl side finished on 159.

Ottniel Baartman was the star of the bowling 2 for 33 figure after his 4 overs. Beyers Swanepoel, Liam Dawson, Daniel Worrall and Simon Harmer got one wicket each for the Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Coming to chase the run, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost Jordan Hermann for 21 off 22 balls. Dawid Malan struggled at the middle before departing for 19 off 20 balls. Both the openers gave them a slow start by playing a lot of dot balls. But Temba Bavuma and Aiden Markram helped them by playing a sensible type of cricket. They converted the loose balls into boundaries and paid respect to the good balls. Together they stitched a partnership of 63 runs from 46 balls before Markram got out for 37 off 26 balls. Temba Bavuma played an anchoring innings of 33 runs facing 30 balls in the crease. Tristan Stubbs added valuable 19 runs facing ust 12 balls before his departure. But the game changer was Patrick Kruger. He was in the middle for just 7 balls and he hit 3 maximums and a boundary to remain unbeaten on 26 runs to help his team to cross the finishing line.

For the Paarl Royals, Andile Phehlukwayo took 3 wickets for 33 runs but his effort was not enough to help his team to register a victory. Peter Nqaba and Codi Ethan Yusuf took one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post match presentations.
