That's an end to our coverage as well. Dubai Capitals dominate the show in Dubai to start with a win. MI Emirates have a lot of thinking to do. We have a doubleheader on Sunday in this ILT20. For now, it's AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my scorer/analyst Chandan Kr Singh. Hope you have enjoyed the coverage. We will meet again in another game. Until then, it's cheers!
Sikandar Raza (POTM): "They were running away in the powerplay. But we knew what we had in the armoury. Some of those wickets were pretty lucky.

Pooran has had a lot of success, and he is a world-class cricketer. That was one of the plans we set for him. On any other day, it could have been his day. That ball came out pretty well. I try to make sure the batter is not set.

When I was training yesterday, I knew the lengths would have to be different here from Sri Lanka. I said to the coaches that I did not know what was coming out of my hands, so good luck to the batters. Faith gave me peace. That took care of all the difficult times I or any person has to go through."
Sikandar Raza is the player of the match.
David Warner (Dubai Capitals Captain): "Look, I really enjoyed that leadership and it's great to have an enthusiastic bunch of guys in the whole squad and staff. It helps when you have that much energy with the guys hustling around the field for that ball.

I throw it open to everyone and am open to ideas across the 20 overs. The critical part is off the bench as well. They get to see from outside what's happening. I am always talking with senior players, and it's good because if I have to, it's difficult to concentrate on every fielding placement and what change-ups in the bowling when the game is running at a good rate and who is gonna bowl next. Look, it's good.

The toss-up was between Sikandar and Roelof. To bowl the overs, we needed Sikandar there. It was important for him to start well against Pooran, and he did. Sikandar bowled extremely well, mixed it up nicely and fortunately, one ball turned.

No, it's good. I have had plenty of battles with Boult. Sometimes I have had the upper hand. This is the first time I have seen the ball swing that much in a while. Boys said, that it did swing a touch last season. Something for me to adjust as well in the next game.

Two (Fraser and Gurbaz) very clear minds and two guys, I think, in the peak of their game, I reckon. They took the bowlers on and never let them settle."
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain): "First of all, to be honest, we kept losing wickets. I think after the start we got, it's difficult to say. Should have played smart when Fletcher got out, it was our job to bat sensibly for the next few overs. Credit to them, they bowled well. We thought we had a chance with 160 but it wasn't enough.

That was a good ball from Raza. I will accept and move on.

We knew that batting first would be tricky, especially with this pitch and the boundaries are quite big as well. Should have continued the good batting but it was slightly slow with no dew on the first innings.

We were just not good enough today. We fell short by 30-40 runs. We started well in the Powerplay. But then Fraser and Gurbaz played well. Dew came in as well and I think, that was the end of the game there. We had no answers and congratulations to Dubai Capitals. Yeah, yeah, sure."
Nicholas Pooran wins the biggest six of the match award for his 92m hit.
