That brings the curtains on our live coverage of this Super Smash T20 game. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta, taking your leave on behalf of co-commentator, Deepak Prakash and our Scorer/ Analyst, Bishal Mandal. See you soon!
Cole McConchie (Northern Brave Captain): "Yeah, it's probably, you know, what we've been searching for over the last few games and, you know, to pull it out at home after a disappointing loss against Auckland, it's really special.

As I said, you know, it's been a little bit of a stop-start campaign so far with a bit of rain and, you know, some good performances, some ugly ones, but, yeah, nice to put out a team performance like that and really special for Mitchie and Henry to put on that partnership."

Jeet Raval, Northern Brave Captain - "We were outplayed in all facets of the game. I felt that we had a bit of a chance with the ball at the halfway stage of the first innings but Mitch Hay and Nicholls took the game away from us. Looking to get back to our home conditions to make the most of that game. We have got some really good hitters in our side and they can turn games around on their respective days. "
Mitch Hay (Player of the Match): "Yeah, obviously rode my luck early, and  Nicholls was really good to bat with, and his knock was awesome. Just really set the foundation for me to come in and bring some aggression, which was good. And, yeah, I'm stoked it came off tonight."

13:20 IST , 20:50 Local time- The tail did wag for the Northern Brave and it got them to some sort of respectability in the end as they finish off with 169/9 , but it has been a convincing and a dominating win for the Canterbury Kings. They've clinched this game by a healthy margin of 33 runs to pick up crucial points in the  competition.

The Northern Brave started  poorly with the early dismissal of Tim Seifert. Despite Katene Clarke's impressive performance, his efforts were hindered by the departures of Jeet Raval and Henry Cooper.Joe Carter also hung around for a while but he didn't really get going as he ended up with just 11 runs from 12 balls.

The middle overs proved troublesome for the Brave, as Canterbury spinners maintained tight control, preventing significant partnerships from forming. The required run rate steadily increased, placing pressure on the batting side. However, the partnerships didn't really come for them and the wicket of Clarke didn't help their cause.

Brett Hampton showcased resilience with a quick-fire 30, injecting some momentum and gave them a glimmer of hope. Scott Kuggeleijn also added excitement with a barrage of sixes in his innings, providing a spirited fight against the mounting run rate but it was always going to be a bridge too far for them.

The Braves lost wickets in heap towards the end and it meant that they were never really in the contest. For the Canterbury side, it was Zachary Foulkes who was the star of the  show as the youngster bowled really well early on in partnership with  Will O'Rourke. The two seamers combined to pick up four wickets and gave away just 36 runs, which proved to be the turning point for the Kings. Michael Rae took a bit of pounding towards the end, but he also picked up three wickets to sign off as the pick of the bowlers.
