Shreyas Gopal (Shivamogga Lions Captain): "Ahh... Obviously, we have had a couple of very bad games. It's about creating the same momentum as we had during the first couple of games. We had a talk prior to the game to recreate those momentum and get the confidence back in the group.

Kranthi Kumar has been amazing for us with both bat and ball. I knew we had a few of all-rounders waiting for the batting turn despite losing a few wickets. When we spoke in the timeout, we pushed it one over a bit too late. We lost three wickets and had plenty of all-rounders to follow. Five of them. But yeah, hats off to Shivaraj and Kranthi Kumar. This is not the first time from Shivaraj that he is given us this. Even in local cricket, he has done it. He is one of the few who can do it in the state."

Shivamogga Lions win the game and seal the deal. A good performance from them overall to keep the Mysore to 162 and then got off to a good start which did set a good base for them.
Nihal Ullal batted terrific and stood strong for the team with 45 off 39 in a crucial stand with the other middle-order batters. Abhinav Manohar with his experience, took time to settle on the field and support Nihal very well to get runs coming on the board.
They did let the game slip away for once but were brought back well by Kranthi Kumar and S Shivaraj, who combined scored 36 off just 20 to win it for the team in the last few overs.
Mysore will be upset about their bowling in this game, and the extras they gave away in the innings. Suchith started off really well and finished with top figures, but a couple of other bowlers went for plenty and that's where the game slipped away.
