Krishnappa Gowtham(Mangalore Dragons Captain):- "We wanted to change the trend and we batted first. We backed us well. One game at a time is the thing I keep telling the boys. We had a lot of positives to take from this game. We have the faith in the youngsters, we know that they can deliver and can do wonders. I think we have a long way to go. 9:16 PM IST: Mangalore Dragons win the game by 23 runs. Not been really tough to defend that one for the Dragons. With a quick couple of wickets from them at the start, getting the big fish Mayank for a duck, it started well for the bowling team. With Nischal, getting to settle on the field, he was Pavan struggling and then giving away his wicket to Gowtham, who Sharath stumped him well. Shubhang Hegde and Nischal managed to get on with the innings and played well through the course of the game to keep runs flowing.
But that was the only partnership they could make, and they both departed after playing some good cricket in the middle. Ahuja played a good cameo at the end but saw everyone going out from the other end. Dragon would be all praise for the brilliant innings by KV Siddarth who smacked a unbeaten century this evening. Well bowled by the bowlers to defend this one.. onto the presentations now.
