That's a wrap on our coverage of this third T20I between India and South Africa with the series ending 1-1. Do join us tomorrow for all cricketing actions across the globe and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya alongside scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Both captains get a hand on the trophy and they share smiles in front of the cameras.
Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Match and Series, India Captain): "I am good. Not doing bad and I am walking. Always a great feeling to get triple figures and then to win the match in the end was great to see. Yes, that's right. We wanted to play that brand of cricket and glad could play that way. The boys are trying hard and giving their best and they work hard a lot, Kuldeep is working really hard and he is never happy with 3 wickets or 4 wickets. He always wants more. To get 5 wickets in the end was great to see from him. I think it's important to know your game and work on it going forward. Always keep improving and evolving all the time. That's my main intention. Thank You."
Aiden Markram (South Africa Captain): "To be honest, we were happy with chasing that score of 200+. The wicket was excellent, small ground, and we were okay with the score knowing how the pitch played as I watched it when fielding. Felt we could have chased it down. Was chaseable. It was slightly on the lower side.
It seemed batters could hit it everywhere when they were batting. But it was their batters who batted excellently and made it look so easy.
It would have been better had we done a bit better. There are some positives that we can take forward. A couple of good things and a couple of things we can work on. We have a few young ones to be seen in the ODIs."
11:56 PM IST and 8:26 PM Local Time: We are ready with the post-match presentation...
