Last few matches we were not getting that momentum but two back-to-back games have given us the confidence that we will like to continue further. Yaa, I think we gave many chances to other batters up in the order, and this time it was my chance to batt up the order and express myself and hopefully, it came on the winning side.

After a brilliant show with the ball Cape Town Samp Army chasing the target of 90 runs batted very well. The start was not good but Skipper Hafeez stood his ground and made sure of the victory for the team. After losing the early wicket of Tom Banton at 30 Ravi Bopatra and Mohammad Hafeez batted together and added unbeaten 60 runs in mere 27 deliveries on the board.
Professor played a brilliant knock of 40 runs in 23 deliveries comprising 4 sixes and 1 boundary. Ravi Bopara on the other hand added 30 quick runs in mere 11 deliveries with 4 big sixes. Earlier in the game Cape Town Samp Army batted first and posted a total of 89 runs in 10 overs. The batting of Cape Town collapsed as they didn't get a good start. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the only batter to score above 20 runs. His inning of 27 runs gave a good start to the team but he failed to continue till the end.
For Joburg Buffaloes, Blessing Muzarabani was the stand-out bowler taking 3 wickets and Victor Nyauchi took 2. Junior Dala also took a wicket.
