Dasun Shanaka (Galle Titans Captain): "Yeah, absolutely a much-needed victory for us in terms of getting qualification in the eliminator. Rajitha started well and Lahiru Kumara also bowled well.
There were some extra runs on there, but still, the wickets have been playing differently here. So in Pallekele, it exactly played the way we wanted. It was good cricket to see everyone scoring high runs in a competition like this, so yeah, I think it's slightly better if we can make good pitches for a tournament like this.

Chasing a paltry score of 90 for the win, Galle Titans got off to a steady start before Bhanuka Rajapaksa gave his wicket away for his 15. Tim Seifert almost played through the innings and top scored with an excellent 55 off 42 balls, his third LPL fifty this season. Chad Bowes remained unbeaten on 13* off 23 balls as the victory target was achieved in 13.3 overs. 3 extras were given by the fielding side.
