Nathan McSweeney (Brisbane Heat Captain): "Fantastic. Obviously, at the start, this is where you want to be standing. First of all, I want to congratulate the Sydney Sixers. They just keep stepping up at this stage of the year. Also, a big congratulations to Steve O'Keefe for a wonderful career.

A big thanks to the head coach and the boys. After missing out last year, it feels great to win that trophy. Also, not to forget Khawaja, Labuschagne, Colin Munro and Billings without whom we couldn't have been here.

A big thanks to Cricket Australia and the sponsors. This wouldn't have been possible without your support. Also, thanks to the big Sydney crowd that turned up tonight. Thanks to everyone involved."
The Brisbane Heat players receive their Winners' medals.
Kepler Wessels walks onto the stage to collect a token on behalf of the match officials.
Daniel Hughes (Sydney Sixers Vice Captain): "Unfortunately, our skipper's not up here. He's let us outstandingly well again this year, so you should be up here saying this, but it's up to me. I'd also like to thank our members and our fans once again this year, you guys have been fantastic. We love your support and once again tonight, you packed it out. To my teammates- Another awesome year lads.

Just couldn't get over the line tonight. I really had another awesome year with you guys. It's always great to be around a bunch of guys like you for six weeks and it would be silly for me to not mention O'Keefe tonight. Wonderful career, mate, I've really enjoyed it. Wonderful teammate, and a wonderful person. You're going to leave this club in a better place, mate.
I'm sure we'll continue to have you around mentoring these young spinners and helping out wherever you can. So, mate, congratulations on a great career."
