Ben Stokes receives the trophy and pose along with his teammates behind the winners board.
Ben Stokes (England Captain): "(On Mark Wood's spell) Amazing. The rewards that he got today was due. The effort that he always put when he puts up that England shirt is incredible. Fast and incredibly skillful. He was phenomenal and I'm extremely happy for him. He got the reward for it.

(On Mark Wood) Woody knows how much he affects the game from the other end. He may not pick wickets but he creates that pressure. I like Bash and Woody together because of the difference in speed. It felt like he was going to pick up wicket every ball and so happy for him. That hour shows why we need him in the side. Every team wants one of those.

(On opening the batting) It was just to keep everyone in the same position. If it was 150-200, we would have thought of opening with someone else. But there were not much to knock off and I decided to open.

(On bringing up fastest fifty for England in Tests) Collingwood is one of the guys who keeps checking the records. Pretty great feeling to go past Beefy (Sir Ian Botham).

(On Atkinson and Smith) Gus and Jamie, what a series to start your Test career. Picking up 12 wickets on Test debut was great for Gus. Here as well when the ball was keeping a bit low, he showed great skills. Jamie Smith, he has played some exceptional knocks and to be a keeper, he has done an exceptional job. He has really grown a lot and so happy for them.

(On change in approach) We were 50/5. 18 or 20 months, we would have responded in just one way. But now, we have done well to assess the conditions. Be smart with your choices. West Indies put a decent total on the board and bowled well but it was a great comeback from us to win this Test.

Every time we walk onto the park, we try to win the games. We really like to process on our process and the result will look at itself. Every time we put three lions on the chest, we try to win the game."
Kraigg Brathwaite (West Indies Captain): "I thought 280 wasn't enough. For sure, it's a better wicket than 280. But we did well with the ball and were disciplined with it.

(On not reviewing a LBW call against Root) That was a big moment. The communication between the guys is down. But generally, we weren't good enough with the ball. We weren't good enough to put the batting teams under pressure consistently for a longer period of time.

(Improvements) We weren't as consistent as we need to be. The guys scored square of the wicket and you have to hit the top of the off-stump. As a human, you will get it wrong. But we weren't consistent. We weren't in control of it. We have to get back to where we were in Australia. Try to hit the top of off and it will help us control the game.

(Positives from the series) We never give up. We always came back and fought. Kavem Hodge getting to his first hundred was good. Bowling wise, we were good in pieces. Jayden Seales was good in patches and Motie also bowled well. I was upset that we had two matches in pretty quick time. We needed time to prepare. It's tough but we are excited for the two games we have up against South Africa. We have the right attitude to have and I'm looking forward to playing with the boys.

I'm doing good. As I said, I'm looking forward to these two Test matches. It's important to show growth. It's not anything hard. Just try to hit the top of off and as a batting unit, try to stay out there in the middle. We will grow when we will learn from the mistakes."
Jayden Seales (Player of the Series, West Indies): "It's a proud moment for me to come here and represent the West Indies. It was important for me to come back in the series.

It was deliberate to come here at Sussex and adapt to the conditions. It helped me get used to the conditions here in England.

It was tough. They play freely and take the opportunity when you give them a chance to hit. It was a great challenge.

Once we all continue to learn and grow, we will be a force to reckon with in the future.

The body is not too bad. I'm just looking to recover in time and get on the tour to South Africa."
Player of the Series (West Indies): Jayden Seales
Gus Atkinson (Player of the Series, England): "To take 22 wickets in the series is pretty special. I didn't come up with many expectations. But really special to pick these many wickets.

It was an incredible week and looks like ages ago. But it was a pretty amazing week and I won't forget it.

Just run in and hit the wicket hard. I tried to swing the ball at different situations and use the crease. Looking forward to playing against Sri Lanka next.

It's fantastic. I love bowling with Woody. He is always there giving you advice. But watching him today was pretty special and it was great to watch.

It was great fun. I won't be forgetting this series and I'm looking forward to the future."
Player of the Series (England): Gus Atkinson
Mark Wood (Player of the Match): "Yeah, a bit of relief. I was down on myself but Jimmy gave me a great talk during the break. I tried to focus on my strength. That first wicket gave me a lot of confidence and I flew after that.

You have to adapt to the conditions. I was just trying to bowl fast. That's what Stokesy wants me to do. The speeds may have been up and down due to the injuries but I'll try to bowl fast in the rest of the summer.

I was a little bit down on myself on not getting the outcome I would have liked. The plan was to bowl to Hodge with the ball reversing. I spoke with Jimmy about the mindset and it helped me change my mindset a bit.

It's hard. It's important to pick up the ball and bowl and again pick it up and bowl. It's great to be a part of this team who always keep backing me.

Every Test is pretty special. The challenge was to keep up the pace in back-to-back Tests. Thanks to the physio as well for helping me out. The body feels good."
