For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur, who brought you all the live-action of this rain-curtailed series decider. We will meet again. Until then, its cheers!
Mitchell Marsh collects the series winner's trophy in an indoor presentation due to inclement weather. The World Champions continue their dominance in the 50-overs format and wrap up their United Kingdom tour with a 3-2 series win over England, who arrived late in the assignment after a couple of not-so-impressive outings. Harry Brook led from the front and forced a decider, which turned out to be a rain-curtailed one as England handed the advantage to the visitors.
Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): "Yeah, they were on track for a big total. I think Smudge assessed the conditions well as the game went on.

I think that has been trend in white ball cricket, the more bowling options you have, the better it is. Hope it continues.

I think we spoke about it as a team. We have some experienced cricketers in our side. Hopefully a lot. Those trophies are hard to win, I think this has been a good series for us. Hopefully this will get us ready for the big one in Pakistan.

He (Cooper Connolly) is an exciting talent for the future."
Harry Brook (England Captain): Yeah, nice to get on the board and get some runs. Nice to contribute in some games and finally get the tempo of One Day cricket.

We're looking long-term towards world competitions and bigger series, a new brand of cricket, trying to be entertaining, looked to take wickets throughout.

Duckie opening the batting has been unbelievable. Captaincy has been ... good? Something I might want to do, but I'd leave Jos to it for now. We're trying to play similar brand to the boys in Test cricket with Baz (Brendon McCullum) and Stokesy (Ben Stokes).

Yeah, I think it is just not the present. We are looking at few big competitions coming up. I think we have done that perfectly. Put pressure on their bowlers at the right time.

The four seamers have done well to put pressure on their top order. It has been good, I just want to sit back and let Jos do it. Yeah absolutely, quite a people took it the wrong way (on his comments after the defeat in the first two games)."

Travis Head (Player of the Match & Series): Death bowling. I didn't come here to bowl the 50th over twice. Joked about this with Hazlewood. But good to help when I am needed. Going to Galle in a couple of months time, so keeping my loads up. I feel like I was moving well today. I felt like the way we were going, it was good to keep attacking.

Pleased to get off to the start I did (scoring 154), would have liked one more big score, but winning the series is a great achievement.

Just trying to be as consistent and relaxed as I can be, it's a great environment. We've played quite well for the past... forever really. So get everyone on deck for the Champions Trophy."
