Okay! Kolkata ticked off! The biggest battle, top of the table, has gone in India's favour! South Africa have plenty to ponder about their chasing tactics. India will fly to Bengaluru for the last league fixture against Netherlands, while South Africa will face Afghanistan in Ahmedabad. India will face the 4th placed team in the 1st semi-final at Wankhede only if Pakistan are not their opponents.

For now, I am AkshayaKrishna Polya signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Akshay Bhide and Sidharth Gulati, who, alongside our scorers/analysts Zeeshan Naiyer and Raju Khariya, brought all the live-action of this mega contest from the City of Joy. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!

Rohit Sharma (India Skipper): "Yeah. I think so. The way we played in the last three games, we played quite better. We played according to the situation. We were put under pressure against England but got to a decent score and the seamers did the thing. In the last game as well, we lost a wicket in the first over and then the big partnership before the seamers came into the party. Also today, it was Kohli with the bat, and also not to forget Iyer who helped us get above 300 before the bowlers did their job. We had to hit the right areas consistently.

I would have kept the faith in him. It's important to let the guys know what the team is expecting from them. It's important to keep faith in them. Will not happen always but we have to keep trusting them. The same happened with Shami and is happening with Iyer. He is showing what he is capable of.

Gill and myself have been batting together for a long time now. We let our instincts take over. Not pre-plan anything and if the wicket is good, we play attacking shots.

Jadeja has been really good. A match-winner for us. Playing all formats for us many years now. He goes under the radar but he does the job every time. Very important player and he knows what the team expects from him.

We speak about it in the change rooms. It's important that we not look far ahead. We stay in the moment. When we take the field, give it all and try to win every game. That's what we are doing right now. Thank you."
Temba Bavuma (South Africa Skipper): "It's a challenge to bat second. I'm aware what the narrative is out there about us chasing. I think we didn't do justice to our potential. We couldn't take wickets at regular intervals. The wicket played the way we suspected it to. We couldn't adapt. It's on us now. We need to improve."
