Milestone
That concludes our thrilling coverage of the clash between Bangladesh Women and India Women. History has been created today as Bangladesh Women have secured their first-ever victory over India Women in ODI cricket, leaving fans in awe. We'll be back with more exciting cricket action from across the globe.

For now, it's me Hitesh Peddurwar signing off along with my co-commentator Saipavan Jankai and scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal Kumar. Until then stay safe....
Nigar Sultana ( Bangladesh Captain): "We were short of 30-40 runs, the lower order give us runs. We are thinking of all out at below 120. Few wonderful efforts in the middle. We were thinking like we are struggling to bat then they are also.  The thing is trying to work our plan in the middle and it worked for us. Obviously, I'm very much happy I have strength in my team. (Marufa)She is young and talented, and she is trying to bowl in her lengths."
Marufa Akter(Player of the Match): " Firstly, I was bowling according to the situation, I was just trying to bowl on the good lengths. Everyone in the team supports me for doing well and it motivates me."
Player of the Match award goes for Marufa Akter.
Harmanpreet Kaur ( India Women Captain):" In the batting, no one took the responsibility and batted till the end. I felt we had given 20 runs extra we bowled too many wide balls. I don't think sp we are struggling and we are not batting up to the mark. I think rotating the strike, we have done really well in ODI and we just need to back us."
Time for post match presentation...
17:03 IST, 17:33 Local Time| That's it!!!! Bangladesh Women's team has scripted history with a momentous first-time victory over the Indian Women's side in ODI cricket, securing a remarkable 40-run(DLS) win.

Earlier in the game, After winning the toss, India Women chose to field, and the decision paid off as Bangladesh Women had a dismal start with just 14 runs and 2 wickets lost during the powerplay. A brief rain delay reduced the game to 44 overs. Captain Nigar Sultana and Fargana Hoque then took control in the middle overs, building a vital 49-run partnership for the 3rd wicket.

After a promising partnership, Fargana Hoque's innings came to an end, falling victim to the debutant Amanjot Kaur after a well-fought 27 runs. Bangladesh faced a challenge as wickets kept tumbling. Amanjot Kaur struck again, dismissing the skipper Nigar Sultana after her valuable 39-run contribution.

Despite the hurdles, Bangladesh managed to reach a total of 152 runs in their allotted 43 overs. Towards the end of the innings, Sultana Khatun and Fahima Khatun made crucial contributions, scoring 16 and 12* runs respectively, adding precious runs to the team's total. The DLS target for India was 154.

From the bowling point of view, the debutant Amanjot Kaur sparkled with the ball, grabbing four crucial wickets. Devika Vaidya played her part well, scalping a couple of wickets, while Deepti Sharma contributed with one wicket.

Chasing a target of 154 runs, India faced a nightmare start as both Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur departed in the powerplay. Bangladesh bowlers were on point, restricting India to 37 runs with 3 wickets down during the powerplay. The captain and vice-captain failed to make an impact, with Smriti scoring 11 runs and Harmanpreet managing to score just 5 runs.

Priya Punia's dismissal for 10 runs added to India's early troubles, as they lost their top order in quick succession. Deepti Sharma and Amanjot Kaur showed resilience, forming a valuable 30-run partnership for the 6th wicket, providing a glimmer of hope for India.

But the game's momentum shifted dramatically in the 29th over, thanks to Marufa Akter's heroics. She struck twice in consecutive balls, removing Amanjot Kaur (15 runs) and Sneh Rana (0), swinging the game in Bangladesh's favor. In the next over, Deepti Sharma (20 runs) also fell, dealing a significant blow to India's chances of victory. In the end, India got bundled out for just 113 runs in 35.5 overs and lost this game by 40 runs.

From the very outset, Bangladesh's bowlers were on their toes, relentlessly building pressure on the Indian batters. Marufa Akter was the star performer with an impressive haul of 4 wickets, while Rabeya Khan contributed significantly with 3 wickets. Sultana Khatun and Nahida Akter also chipped in with one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post match presentation ceremony.
