Done and dusted with the ODI series. New Zealand claims a 2-0 win. This marks an end to the in-match preparations for both teams ahead of the blockbuster next month. The Kiwis will be back in the Bangladesh soil after the World Cup for a Test series starting November 28.

So, this is me, Arijit Kundu with the finishing duties from the coverage. It was an absolute pleasure to bring forth the time-to-time updates in this space. Shoutout to my teammates- co-commentator, Hitesh Peddurwar and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer who were a crucial part of this coverage.

So, before we sign off we have something for all of you tuned in.

Hott off the Press: Bangladesh announced their squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup
that slates next month. No Tamim Iqbal 😱

Here's a look at it:

Bangladesh Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (c), Litton Das (vc), Najmul Hossain Shanto, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Towhid Hridoy, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mahmudullah Riyad, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
Time for the Kiwis to get behind the winner's banner and celebrate the moment. A brilliant series win for the Kiwis who clinch an ODI series in Bangladesh after 15 years.

Lockie Ferguson (New Zealand Captain): “Certainly, we are chuffed with the way we did. Some ups and downs along the way but the boys were brilliant throughout the two games. Yeah, look, the way Bangladesh batted in the first 25 overs we were under the pressure. The bowlers came back well. We bowled well, Milne with the four wickets, the group stepped up really well. As a group, it is very pleasing when the boys step up as a team.

For sure, as we have mentioned this week, they were well up for a series win. We can take the learnings from here and continue it in the next series.”
Henry Nicholls(Player of the Series): "Yeah, it's definitely pleasing. It's very different conditions for us, but we have been here a couple of years before for the T20s. The wickets here can be tough at times, but as a batting group, we have managed to adapt to the conditions.

The job our bowlers did was amazing, the way Adam Milne came in and bowled today, and Trent Boult too. The small total allowed me to take some time and Will Young was batting the way he does. When you play international cricket going out and playing is a big test.  It's tough winning the series here in Bangladesh, the boys put up a good show and we did well in all three games."
Player of the Series: Henry Nicholls

Will Young (Player of the Match): "To come away with a win against Bangladesh probably since 2008 really feels good. At different times of the year, this group plays well. We were here in Bangladesh a couple of year ago. This group plays very well and gives us tough competition.

The condition in India might be similar to India and this will help us gain confidence, the two wins. Yeah thank you."

Najmul Hossain Shanto(Bangladesh Skipper): "Yeah, absolutely, I think our batters didn't go for big runs, everyone got the start but we failed to put on a good score. We are not worrying too much about batting, we know that we are capable of batting for a long. For me, if I had batted till the end, then things would have been different. We failed to put up a good partnership. Everyone needs to take responsibility. We need to take one game at a time and gain the confidence. Everyone is prepared well and we are looking forward for the World Cup."
