That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Tugral Azmi and Scorer / Analyst Paras Yadav. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.

12:06 AM IST| Prince: The match has been called off due to a wet field, and Super Giant has not qualified for the play-off.

Earlier, Durban Super Giants won the toss and decided to bowl first. They lost the first wicket early in the innings at 22 runs in the second over of the innings. Shortly after Temba's dismissal, the Sunrisers suffered another blow when Jordan was dismissed without scoring a run. Rain forced the game to be halted after the third over for a while. Aiden Markram joined Adam Rossington in the middle. They glued a partnership of 19 off 17 for the third wicket as Markram departed cheaply after scoring just 6 and Adam Rossington scored unbeaten 35 runs off 18 balls, while JJ Smuts scored unbeaten 9 runs off 4 balls. On the flip side, Reece Topley was the pick of the bowler as he scalped 2 wickets, while Wiaan Mulder extracted a solitary wicket.
12:00 AM IST | The news from Kingmead is that the match has been called off due to the outfield conditions not looking promising. The ground has been deemed unfit to play due to the wet outfield. Both teams share the spoils. Similar to the first game, both teams will end up with two points, which puts the Durban Super Giants in a vulnerable situation.
11:30 PM IST | Nothing new to update. The ground staff and the umpires are having a chat regarding the situation on the ground. The scenes are not promising at the moment. The ground staff is trying their best to dry the outfield as soon as possible.
10:45 PM IST: Good news folks the rain has stopped and the game will resume soon. The outfield, however, is covered with a lot of water puddles, and clearing them will take some time. Moreover, we have begun to lose overs.
10:19 PM IST! Oh, wait!! The rain is back and seems to be playing hide and seek. The groundsmen jog in with the covers. It has gotten heavier now. Please keep in mind that in 10 minutes, we will begin losing overs.
Aiden is hurt and drops his body on the ground in agony.
5.2 K Paul to J Smuts
1lb Back of a length, seams in and the batter swings across the line and gets beaten. This one seems to hit the batter at the groin region. Markram is down on the ground in agony. A single has been taken in the form of a leg bye.
5.2 K Paul to J Smuts
WD Wide!! Good length, seams away to go past the tramline on the off stump.
5.2 K Paul to J Smuts
4nb FOURRR!! Similar delivery and same is the treatment. Keemo dishes it full, right in the arc to be driven. Just near the off peg and Smuts does a carbon copy execution of the previous delivery. This time much straighter.
5.1 K Paul to J Smuts
4 FOUR!! Starts the over in a fine way. Pitched up and the batter drives it straight down the ground for a four. The mid off fielder dives to his right but the rolling cork beats him. Smuts came right behind the line and punched it down.

4.5 W Mulder to A Markram
W WICKETTTT!! Whips and does it straight into the hands of the fielder at short mid-wicket. Full, at the leg peg line. It was offered to be flicked and Markram fell into the trap. Well-timed but flat and straight into the hands of Simon Harmer.
4.4 W Mulder to A Markram
4 FOURRRRR!! Back of a length delivery, seams in at the off stump line. Aiden looked to crunch it over the inner circle with the bounce but was surprised by the sudden leap of the surface. The ball scooted over the fielder at cover point and scurried towards the fences.
4.3 W Mulder to A Markram
0 Full, shaping in at the leg stump line. Aiden drives it to mid on for none.
4.2 W Mulder to A Rossington
1 Good length delivery at the middle stump and Adam squares up and defences. The ball trickles towards the off side and the batter scampers.
