That's a wrap on this game. This is just the first of three matches that comes your way today. Do switch tabs to follow the next game between the Deccan Gladiators and the Chennai Braves. For now, this is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar, alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for all the other cricketing action across the globe as well. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!
Chris Lynn(Team Abu Dhabi Skipper):" We had a good winning process, the team is full of confidence and the boys are boosted up at the right time. Yeah, we didn't score according to the T10 run rate but good to defend the total. We knew that the surface was a bit helpful for the bowlers and I am happy that our bowlers bowled pretty well."
Peter Hatzoglou: "Yes, it's really nice. Simple plans. Bowl top of the stumps with a bit of variation. It came off today. Yes, I am enjoying it and have been helped by the team. T10 is challenging and Hales has helped me a lot. The coaching staff has been fantastic with us and has helped us shape up really well here. Yes, looking forward to it and hope to continue the winning momentum."
The Player of the Match award goes to Peter Hatzoglou.
The power hitter of the match award goes to James Vince for his 44* runs off 25 balls.
The Magic Moment of the Match goes to Fabien Allen.
Time for the presentations.
Fabian Allen: "Pretty decent performance by us, we just stuck to our plans. The boys are confident and we executed our plans very well. Everyone has to give 100 percent on the field and the boys are having good energy. Good to be on the winning side."
So, Team Abu Dhabi notches up an 18-run win over Morrisville Samp Army to climb upwards in the points table. This has been a disappointing performance from the Samp Army as they were blown away and had it not been for Basil Hameed, this would have been an embarrassing loss for them. 31 dots were played out by Morrisville Army.

Chasing a gettable score of 101 for the win, Morrisville Samp Army was simply blown away as the top-order crumbled big time. None of them could get to double figures as they were 28/8 at one stage and were struggling to get to 50. But it was Basil Hameed who lifted the Morrisville Samp Army and made sure that the margin of defeat was reduced. It makes sure that their NRR does not take a heavy beating. He scored an unbeaten 47* off 18 balls to take his side from 28/8 to 82/9 in 10 overs. 8 extras were given by the fielding side.

All the Abu Dhabi bowlers bowled well. Peter Hatzoglou was the pick of the bowlers with 3/6 in 2 overs. He was ably supported by Andrew Tye in 3/17 in 2 overs. Fabian Allen picked up a couple of wickets in his 2 overs and went for 24 runs. Naveen ul Haq bowled a miserly spell of 2 overs for 4 runs and a wicket to his name. Only Adil Rashid had a rare off day as he went for 29 runs in 2 overs. He was taken to the cleaners by Basil Hameed.

Earlier in the game, Team Abu Dhabi lost Alex Hales off the first ball of the match for a golden duck to Ahmed Raza. Abu Dhabi elected to bat first on a dry pitch. Skipper Chris Lynn chipped in with a sensible 35 off 23 balls. James Vince held the innings together with his unbeaten 44* off 25 balls. Brandon King went for a golden duck. Fabian Allen remained unbeaten on 14 off 10 balls as Team Abu Dhabi finished with 100/3 after 10 overs with the help of 7 extras given by the fielding side.

Chamika Karunaratne was the pick of the bowlers for Morrisville Samp Army as he picked up a couple of wickets for 13 runs in 2 overs. Ahmad Raza picked up the other wicket of Alex Hales. The other bowlers went wicketless but kept things relatively tight on a slow pitch.

So, a win by 18 runs takes Team Abu Dhabi to the fourth spot in the points table. Morrisville Samp Army are now placed 3rd in the points table. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.
