Chinnelle Henry | Barbados Royals Women: "My plan was to stick with the basics as guided by the players who got out before me. Our next game is a must win game and we have match winning players and it is the time to go back and re visit the two games we have lost and have to learn with our mistakes."
Geetika Kodali | Man of the Match: "Amazing feeling and have support from my teammates and coaches, great feeling ( hat trick wickets). Dottin is back, good to have her back and she will be an inspiration for us. I would like to say thank u so much ( fans) and we are here with all their support."
Trinbago Knight Riders have won this match single handedly by 29 runs. After loosing the toss and forced to bat first the Knight Riders scored 92 runs of their 10 overs. All thanks to the superb innings by Deandra Dottin of 48 runs and her partnership with Sune Luus of 56 runs for the third wicket.
Came into chase, the Barbados Royals started off slow but steady before Geetika Kodali came in to bowl and took a superb hattrick including the wickets of Hayley Matthews, Britney Cooper and Chloe Tryon and that too of just two legal bowls as she got Tryon stumped on a wide ball. Chinelle Henry fired 37 runs of 29 balls at the end and kept her team in the game but those 3 early wickets were a bit too much for the Knight Riders and her innings was not too much to take her team home with a win. The Royals got all out in the last over because of two consecutive run outs of the last two balls and the Knight Riders got to a comfortable victory at the end.
W In the air and taken !!! Short delivery on the line of the stumps, Boyce clears her front leg and looks to play over the long-on region but the ball is in the air and gets height but not elevation and taken by McLean at the long-on region. Boyce departs here at 18. The Royals are 5 down at 63. Tribango
