That’s it from all of us for this game. Don’t go anywhere as the second game begins shortly. This is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Saipavan Janaki and scorer Ashok. Tata. Bye Bye.

Mayank Agarwal | Bengaluru Blasters Skipper: "I think it was a crucial win for us. Beating them earlier in the competition really helped us. I felt today I was a bit scratchy. Gave away chances but that’s the way it goes. And Aniruddha played brilliantly to help us get to that total. We talk about playing our best cricket and raising the standards. So happy with the performance."

Aniruddha Joshi | Player of the Match: "Finally won this game, the first 2 matches, I didn't get runs from my bat, and all the teammates and coaches who came me back today are great for me and whatever the team requires, and there with me, and last we won the match. This award is dedicated to my both sons."

Aniruddha Joshi is the Player of the Match.
Time for post match presentation ceremony....!!
Akshay: That’s the end of the match. A solid all-around performance from Bengaluru Blasters sees them defeat Mangalore United by 66 runs. With this win, they go to the top of the table, replacing United at the top spot. With this, the Blasters finish the Mysore leg with a win.

It was always going to be a daunting task to chase 192. United didn’t have the best of starts to their innings as they had a collapse in the powerplay. They lost their top-order, thanks to some brilliant bowling from the Blasters. The United reeled at 42/4 at the end of the powerplay. Skipper Ravikumar Samarth lacked support from the other end as he stood tall against the Blasters’ bowling attack.

Samarth played some beautiful shots before getting dismissed on 32. Abhinav Manohar hit some lusty blows before getting dismissed on 23. United never recovered from the collapse at the start of their innings as they were knocked over on 125, losing the game by 66 runs. Pradeep T and Rishi Bopanna picked up three wickets each for the Blasters. Kranthi Kumar also chipped in with a couple of scalps as they completed a comprehensive win over the United.

Earlier in the day, United skipper Samarth won the toss and opted to bowl first. They had a good start with the ball as they restricted the Blasters to 44/1 at the end of the powerplay. Mayank Agarwal played some beautiful strokes but fell three short of his half-century. Aneesh along with Shivkumar Rakshith put up a solid stand for the third wicket before the former departed on 40 in the 15
th over.

Aniruddha Joshi walked in to bat and changed the whole complexion of the match. He hit some fantastic shots and raced to his fifty in no time. He was well-supported by Rakshith from the other end. Joshi remained unbeaten on 57 off just 24 balls to power his side close to 200. He hit seven fours and three maximums as the Blasters posted 191 on the board in their 20 overs. It proved to be too much in the end for United as they lost the game by 66 runs.
