Niroshan Dickwella (Player of the Match):"Actually I didn't get much strike in the powerplay. I thought the target was to get to 150 is a competitive total. Then I played risky shots a little less and played a crucial inning for the team. I enjoyed the inning. I just played my normal game and was good for the team. I just go there and express myself."
Harsh: First win of the tournament here for Greens as they won the match by 8 runs. Reds batted very well but it was the superb bowling by Greens bowler which took the game away from the Reds who were looking quite comfortable at that point in time. It was a good start for Red, Crosspulle and Mendis batted superbly and made the partnership of 61 runs off 55 balls for the first wicket. Mendis departs after Vimukthi plumbs him up in front of the wicket. Soon Mendis also departs after he tries to go over cover buts gets the hand of Vandersayy who was fielding in the covers. After a quick two wickets fall Reds needed a good partnership that can set the game for them.
Mendis and Bhanuka Rjapaksa batted very well in the middle and made the partnership of 55 runs for the third wicket. It was Ramesh Mendis who broke the crucial partnership and took the crucial wicket of Mendis who was batting superbly. Lakshan was the key bowler for Greens as he got the crucial wicket of Rajapaksa. Was a bit economical but bowled very well.
It was a very poor display of batting after getting the healthy start of 55 runs without a loss of wicket. Rajapaksa and Mendis could have taken the game a bit deeper till the last over and stayed there till the end. Hasaranga could have batted much more sensibly but it was all about the death overs where Greens managed to score 45 runs in the last 5 overs Reds managed to get only 30.

19.6 D Lakshan to L Madushanka
0 Back of a length delivery and outside off, Madushanka looks to play for the big shot but gets beaten on the outside edge. SLC Reds are falling short of 8 runs.
19.5 D Lakshan to S Arachchige
1 Shaping away and outside off, Arachchige taps it straight to the fielder at short cover and takes a single.
19.4 D Lakshan to S Arachchige
2 Angling in onto the leg stump line, Arachchige clips it along the ground towards the deep mid wicket region and scampers across a quick couple.
Third one of the over, what a superb batting by Arachchige here.
19.3 D Lakshan to S Arachchige
4 FOUR! ARACHCHIGE IS TAKING THE CHARGE HERE! THIRD BOUNDARY OF THE OVER! Fuller delivery on the leg stump line. Arachchige won't miss out on this opportunity and clips it aerially towards the deep mid-wicket region for a boundary.
