That brings an end to our coverage for this game. It was an exciting contest and do switch tabs as the Test between Pakistan and New Zealand is going down to the wire. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Megh Mandaliya and scorer Manish Bishnoi. Bye Bye.
James Vince is named the Player of the Match for his match-winning knock for the Sixers.
Jordan Silk (Sydney Sixers): "I did strike that six nicely. I was not sure about that wicket. Not sure how they came up with that. The front-on camera showed a different picture as there was a clear gap between the bat and the ball. James Vince's innings was high-class. He was building that sort of innings this season and it was fantastic."
04:22 PM IST | Akshay: That’s it. Sydney Sixers continue their domination over the Melbourne Stars as they get home in a thriller of a contest. On the back of James Vince’s masterclass, the Sixers chase down 174 with one ball to spare. With this win, they go to the top of the points table.

Chasing 174 was a tricky task at this venue. The Sixers got off to a good start, thanks to James Vince who played some beautiful strokes against the new ball. Josh Philippe struggled for timing and fell on 10. There was no stopping Vince at the other end as he found regular boundaries and brought up his fifty. He was well-supported by Daniel Hughes from the other end.

The partnership was building nicely for the Sixers until Beau Webster dismissed Hughes on 28. Skipper Moises Henriques walked out to bat and played a breezy knock of 23 off 14 balls. He fell in the 16th over with the required run rate just over 10. Vince kept his calm and hit some lusty blows in the end. The game went to the last over and with 11 required from the last over, the Sixers got home with one ball to spare to win the game by six wickets. Vince remained unbeaten on 91 off 59 balls to take his side across the line.

The Stars were asked to bat first. They got off to a watchful start. Thomas Rogers along with Hilton Cartwright put a solid 60-run stand for the second wicket. Rogers fell two short of his fifty and it brought Marcus Stoinis at the crease. Cartwright looked good but departed on 36. Stoinis took his time to settle in and teed off once he got his eye in.

The Stars took the power surge in the 17th over and scored 34 runs in it which helped them finish on a high. Stoinis played some sensational strokes and brought up his fifty off just 24 balls. He hit 7 fours and two maximums before departing on 52. His knock powered the Stars to 173 at the end of their 20 overs. Sean Abbott was the pick of the bowlers for the Sixers. He picked up three wickets, giving away 31 runs in his four overs. The game went down to the wire and the Sixers held their nerves to win the game by six wickets.
19.5 L Wood to D Christian
4 FOURRR! THAT'S IT! Dan Christian does what he is best at and finishes the game for the Sydney Sixers! Wood goes fuller and attacks the stumps, Christian hangs back, rolls his wrists, and flicks that past square leg as the ball races away towards the boundary ropes. Sydney Sixers defeat Melbourne Stars by 6 wickets.
After all the drama, it has come down to 2 from 2. Daniel Christian on strike.
Umpire Review for run out. Wood underarms it at the non-striker's end and Silk might be short of his crease. Hang on, Zampa has reviewed it for a caught behind. There is a spike on the UltraEdge when the ball is close to the bat. The decision is overturned and Silk departs.
