This game had everything you could ask for. The Falcons started really well with both bat and ball but couldn't capitalize on their good starts as they leaked way too many in the first innings while bowling at the later stages and while batting they collapsed drastically after the wicket of Athapaththu.
Spirits came in with a proper plan and executed that perfectly here. They started off slowly as Chantham was finding it hard to hit but they kept on with the aggressive approach from the other end, as a result, everyone chipped in with a few and Dunkley got the majority with a half-century.
The score of 147 looked like a walk in the park till Athapaththu was batting but as soon as she departed the Spirits grabbed this game with both hands and never let loose of it. Miyaji was the pick of the bowler here as she picked up 4 wickets with 2 crucial wickets of Hill and Satish which killed the game then and there.
Spirits women finally have some points on board here in Dubai with a much-needed victory against the Falcons Women who lose their First game in 3 played. An entertaining game of multiple phases ends with the Spirits being the happier of the two teams.
