Harsh:And Lancashire wins it by four wickets in an epic run chase. The superb batting performance made it look so easy for a commentator for me. The massive target of 372 runs was never easy to chase down, but it was the batting that made the run chase look good. The opening partnership of 130 runs with Wells and Jennings set the temperament for the Lancashire batsman. After Wells got out on 84 Jennings continued his amazing display of batting in dominating way. The shots which he played were quite a treat to watch. George Lavelle played the innings of his life today, an amazing performance of 61 runs in 34 balls gave the final touch to the run chase.
As it was a batting pitch it was obvious that it was going to be a high-scoring match. The total of 742 runs scored today shows that it was a batting-dominated pitch where batsmen dominated very well. The superb of Vasconcelos in the first inning gave the start that Northamptonshire was looking for, McManus finished the inning with 44 runs and gave the finishing touch to the innings.
Overall it was a great game of cricket today, batsman dominated it but the bowler showed some courage to take overall 10 wickets on this pitch. Lancashire bowlers bowled amazingly well to stop the Northamptonshire before 100, but Lancashire finished the match by winning it with 4 wickets.
Saptak: That's the winning stroke and what an innings George Lavelle played today! Appreciation all around.
48.2 N Buck to G Lavelle
4 FOUR!!! And here comes the winning runs for team Lancashire. Buck bowls a short-pitched delivery on the stumps, Lavelle pulls it with a top edge, and the ball races down towards the deep fine leg for a winning boundary. What an innings by George Lavelle, just outstanding. Take a bow man. Makes this thriller a one-sided affair with his brilliant knock of 61 from just 34 deliveries. With this victory, Lancashire tops Group-B. LANCASHIRE WINS THIS GAME BY 4 WICKETS.
48.1 N Buck to G Lavelle
0 Slower and wide of the stumps, Lavelle tries to dab but misses it.

Another important and expensive over. Just three needed off last couple of overs.
47.6 J White to D Lamb
4 FOUR MORE!!! And another cheeky shot there. White bowls on the fuller length, Lamb paddle sweeps this one, and the ball races down towards the boundary down the deep fine leg region.
47.5 J White to D Lamb
0 Too full on the stumps, Lamb hits straight towards the mid-wicket, no run.
