Sussex wins this game by 4 runs. Sussex has got their first win of the season. Kent won the toss and they elected to bowl first. Sussex posted a total of 171 runs with the help of a blistering knock by Alsop he scored 65 runs in 30balls with a strike rate of 216.
Qais Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers for Kent he took 2 wickets and gave away just 23 runs.Klaassen,Linde and Milnes took a wicket each.
Kent didn't start well with the bat, They lost a couple of quick wickets which pushed them on the backfoot, Skipper Billings showed some firepower and stitched a 3rd wicket partnership of 68 runs with Denly. Billings departed after scoring 31 runs.
There on Kent were unable to get back into the game.
Bopara and Finn took a couple of wickets each. Bopara was outstanding with his line and length, he took 2 wickets and gave away just 22 runs in 4 overs. Mills, Rawlins, and Garton took a wicket each. Which helped them to defend the total and win the match by 4 runs.
