England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 have embedded their name under this championship for the second time after clinching in 2010. After West Indies, they have scripted the T20 World Cup title twice under their name.

What a fantastic World Cup🏆 we've had. Four weeks went by thick and fast, and with the number of upsets and drama witnessed on the cards, this shall go down to the history books.

Jos Buttler (England Captain): "Yeah, absolutely. It is very good to win the T20 World Cup. I am immensely proud of everyone who made this happen. It has been a fantastic tournament. We went to Pakistan before this tournament, and it helped us to prepare well. Even after the loss against Ireland, we were almost down and out. But to overcome that one and win the next matches and become the champions is a special thing. He (Adil Rashid) has been bowling really well. Adil has been bowling good lines and lengths in the last three matches and put us in a good position. They (Pakistan) have bowled seriously well. They swung the ball, and lines and lengths were tighter as well. They were bowling it with a fiery pace and were attacking as well. It was, once again, Ben Stokes. Ahh!! He does it again and again. Ben Stokes was just perfect at the end. He has experience, and he is the ultimate competition. That phase he handled with Moeen Ali just took the match away from Pakistan."

Sam Curran | Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament: "Yeah, very special. Ahh! I don't think this award is for me. Ben Stokes deserves this, as he has done this many times for England. So, I think he is the real owner of this. The plan was simple. It was to bowl according to the dimensions of the ground. So I planned accordingly and executed them really well. Pakistan bowled brilliantly. They nipped around and put us under pressure. Stokes is a guy that we, the younger boys, look upto. He has the experience, and he has done it in these big stages. He is a great player. People do question him, which is incredible. Amazing crowd tonight. I wanted to adapt to the conditions coming into the tournament. I haven't bowled much in death before. To be honest, needed to be good with the bat as well. How good it is to be a world champion (laughs). "
