Thanks for joining, that is all from this encounter between South Australia and Queensland. This was Badal Pareek, AkshayaKrishna Polya and was ably supported by Anmol Ahuja. See you all. Until next time..Cheers!
A clinical all-round performance by Queensland helps them win the match by 6 wickets with 47 balls remaining. It all started in the first innings itself when Sandhu picked up a hattrick and put breaks on the South Australian innings. SA were on course for something around 320 because of the start given by Carey (101 runs) and Hunt (61 runs). Sandhu and company had other plans as they restricted them to 274. In the second innings, the Queensland top order failed but then came in Renshaw(156 not out) who took apart the South Australian bowling lineup. He was well supported by Bryant (68 runs). Once Renshaw completed his ton, he just went after everything. As a result, they won it comfortably with 6 wickets and 7.5 overs left.
42.1 L Pope to J Peirson
1 Full and on the stumps, Peirson goes for the sweep top edges it for single down to the short fine leg region. Queensland have successfully chased 275 runs with ease thanks to Renshaw.
