Milestone
So we have come to an end of such an exciting World Cup. It was a pleasure bringing all the live action to you all through the tournament.  Till the next time it's adieous from me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) and my fellow commentators Anurag Singh, Anurag Dasgupta and Arjun Bhalla.
Time for Aaron Finch to lift the T20 World Cup trophy.
Aaron Finch, Australian skipper- This is huge. This is the first Australian team to do it. Proud of the way we played all through the tournament. We knew our backs were against the wall. If you keep putting people's back to the wall people will respond and they did exactly that.

I cant believe some people wrote Warner off. That's when he comes out all guns blazing. Zampa got some big wickets and is a super player for us. Marsh what a way to start his innings. He put pressure on the New Zealand bowlers. Marcus Stoinis was exceptional as well.
Now it's time for the Australian players to collect their medals from Jay Shah and Sourav Ganguly.
Kane Williamson, New Zealand skipper- "Look you know with the start we were trying to get a platform with the surface holding. We built a few partnerships and at the halfway stage we were confident but Australia played brilliantly all through the tournament.

At the halfway stage we made every effort to make a good score. Having said that, credit to the Aussies for having chased down the total. They didn't give us an inch. Proud of my team's effort. Real consistent like we operated. We came and gave the best shot in the final but it wasn't good enough. Guys really are committed what we like to do.

We adapted well. We were very competitive. Once again the team tried very well but Australia played brilliantly and today they really turned it on. One day at a time. Such is the life in international schedule, we turn our focus again. Winning and losing are two possible outcomes and its a shame that we couldn't get over the line today.
New Zealand will now collect the runners-up medal from BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah.
David Warner is the Player of the Tournament- "Look I always felt really well. two practice matches didn't get much time. But for me was to get back to the basics. I managed to do that and came out here and scored some runs. This is up there with the 2015 World Cup. The 2010 loss against England was a hard pill to swallow. This is a terrific bunch of people. Look I am always pumped. A great spectacle for everyone in the venue. Little bit of nerves around there with a big score but it is a great moment for all of us."
Mitchell Marsh is the Player of the Match- absolutely. Feel like lot of people saying this but I don't have words (emotional). Coaching staff came up to me in West Indies and asked to bat at 3. Everyone involved in the Australia team backed me to bat up there. Not a whole lot of thinking which went into that. Stoinis always keeps telling about the presence. Can't believe it. Just unbelievable.
The match officials will now collect their memorabilia. Starting from match referee Ranjan Madhugalle, onfield umpires Marais Erasmus, Richard Kettlebroigh. Tv Umpire Nitin Menon and 4th umpire for today Kumar Dharmasena.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
