That's it from us at OneCricket and Cricket Exchange. Do switch tabs as India lock horns against Scotland in a must-win game. This is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off on behalf of Ninaad Dixit and Arjun Bhalla. Bye Bye.
Kane Williamson | New Zealand Skipper: "The surface was a challenging one and we were under pressure for a bit but we managed to get a competitive total on the board. We managed to target the short side of the boundary in the end and helped us in the end. The surface wasn't a fluent one and it was a challenge for us to bat first and put runs on the board. We will face Afghanistan in our next match and they have match-winners in their side. We need to be at our best against them."
Gerhard Erasmus | Namibia Skipper: "The death overs didn't go as per plan. We bowled well for the 16 overs but let it slip in the end. Hope to put in a decent performance in the next game against India. 160 was probably too much on that wicket and we couldn't get across the line."
Jimmy Neesham: "We tried to concentrate on what we do well and we just tried to post a competitive total on the board. I and Phillips were discussing where we could get the boundaries. It wasn't easy to find boundaries and we concentrated on running twos. I'm feeling fresh and confident whenever the skipper needs me to bowl."
Jimmy Neesham is the player of the match.
Akshay: That’s it. A comprehensive victory by the Black Caps as they defeat Namibia by 52 runs. The win sees them go above Afghanistan in the points table in Group 2 and have increased their chances of qualification for the semi-finals.

The lower-order batters set up the game nicely for New Zealand as they posted 163 on the board after being asked to bat first. Glenn Phillips and Jimmy Neesham remained unbeaten on 39 and 35 respectively to help them post a respectable total on the board. Namibia bowled brilliantly in the first phase of the innings but leaked runs in the end as the Kiwis finished on 163.

It was a steady start by the Namibian openers, scoring 36 runs in the powerplay. The pressure was building and the New Zealand bowlers kept a lid on the scoring rate as the Namibian batters succumbed to the pressure and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. There weren’t any healthy contributions from them and eventually they finished on 117, falling short by 52 runs. Tim Southee and Trent Boult picked two wickets apiece with the spinners doing a fine job in the middle overs.

19.6 A Milne to J Smit
0 AHH! Slower short of a length delivery that nips back in from a line well outside off, Smit drops his flat bat but fails to get any sort of connection. That is it. New Zealand finish off things in style. They win this one over Namibia by 52 runs.
19.5 A Milne to J Smit
0 Fuller and wider again, Smit leans good and jams it late but bunts it straigh to backward point.
