So that's goodbye from this comm box. This is me, Arjun signing off on the behalf of my partner Anurag Singh. Do join us for the ongoing coverage of the fourth Test between England and India. It's a goodbye and take care from my side!!
Mahmudullah Riyad | Bangladesh captain: In T20s, you get these sort of close games. Happy to get the win, that's what matters. Mustafizur held his nerve. I had quite a bit of confidence on him to deliver and he did. Mahedi has been bowling well, he's been giving early breakthroughs. The wicket got better under lights. We believe that we are a good team in this format. We are happy to continue this streak (eight wins this calendar year).
Mahmudullah Riyad gets the Man of the Match award.
Tom Latham | New Zealand captain: It was a great game. For us to learn from the first game, I thought we did that. we weren't quite as well with the ball today. A better surface makes for a better game and that was the game. For us it's about executing our skills. 130-140 was a competitive score and we took it deep. Partnerships work differently, my role was to bat till the end. The guys coming in did a really good job. I am really proud of the guys the way turned things around.
Another demolition done by Bangladesh at home. This Dhaka pitch was a much better surface, as compared to the conditions that the Tigers are offering of late.

A target of 142 runs was a respectable one and the partnership between Tom Latham and Young showed that batting in the subcontinent isn’t that tough. Alas for the Kiwis, Latham's 65 not out could not shoulder the visitors over the line.

The openers were removed cheaply, leaving New Zealand at 18 for 2 within the batting powerplay itself. However, then skip Latham and Young showed the visitors some ray of hope. They batted brilliantly against the daunting Bangla spinners, forcing them to push quick balls. The duo notched a vital 43-run stand, before the youngster edged Shakib to short third man.

The visiting team then lost de Grandhomme and Nicholls in a span of seven deliveries, in a similar fashion - miscuing the slog sweep to the man at deep in the square. However, the skipper flighted for his team till the very end. He rode high on luck as well, as he got a lifeline in the penultimate over and got a no ball delivery in the last over, when things were almost shut for them.

The Kiwis started the last over with 20 runs required, and got to 13 off the last two balls at one point, but a freebie by Fizz kept the game open till the last ball. However, the experienced Tiger got better off the Kiwi skipper as nailed a four-run win, helping Bangladesh to take a 2-nil lead in the five-game T20I series.

OH MY WORD!!! Fizz has delivered for Bangladesh. This last over had so many twists and turns.. but in the end, Mustafizur showed his nerves of steel, helping Bangladesh to win by four runs. This is surely a heart-break for New Zealand, also for Tom Latham.

1 Fizz undoes his mistake and the Tigers pull out another victory taking the lead in the 5-match series by 2-0. Latham swings the full delivery to deep mid wicket for just a single.
Six required off the last ball. Nihadas Trophy final loading again?
19.5 M Rahman to T Latham
2lb Onto the pads of Latham who misses the flicks and the ball rolls to the square leg fielder off his pads for a couple. Six needed off the last ball.
Of course. There's a twist in the tale. No ball by Fizz and a boundary off it. NZ now need 8 runs off the two balls. Free loading..
19.5 M Rahman to T Latham
4nb What has the Fizz done? Bowls a beamer onto the riffs of Latham who uppercuts this over the keeper for a boundary. No ball for height and a free hit coming up as well.
Mathematically, it has become impossible for the visitors now.
19.4 M Rahman to C McConchie
1 Full and quick following McConchie as he makes room. He ends up placing it to sweeper cover for just one.
14 off last three balls. Latham is off strike...
19.3 M Rahman to C McConchie
2 On a hard length in the middle, McConchie makes room and cuts it past point for a couple.
19.2 M Rahman to T Latham
1 Slow and full outside off, Latham shuffles across and whacks it straight to long off for a single.
19.1 M Rahman to C McConchie
3 Pulls the short delivery uppishly and just short of deep mid wicket. Valiant effort by the fielder as he saves one run for his team.
Arjun: New Zealand need 20 runs off the last over. Surely, it is Bangladesh's game but.. cricket is a game of uncertainties. We already have seen a last-over turnaround today. Can Latham take New Zealand home here? Only time will tell..
