Earlier, It was a rather disappointing batting performance by the Hurricanes again, with the exception of Richa Ghosh. The Indian scored a flowing 46, including three sixes, to carry the Hurricanes’ to 125.
That’s the winning hit! Sydney Sixers make it two out of two. A disciplined bowling performance from them meant Hurricanes lumbered to second sub 120 total in two outings this season. Two early wickets, including the big wicket of Alyssa Healy, reignited the hope for the home side. That’s when Shafali Verma and Ellyse Perry came together to stitch an important partnership.
