That's all we got from the comms box. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. I'm Akshay Bhide, signing off on behalf of my colleagues AryaSekhar Chakraborty and Kingshuk Kusari. Bye Bye.
Pooran gets hold of the trophy and the celebration begins. They are the deserved winners of the series. Australia were outplayed in all the departments as the hosts clinch the series 4-1.
Nicholas Pooran | West Indies Skipper: Wonderful achievement. Especially after the last series, we played proper cricket. Leg spinners are champs in T20 cricket. We are very happy for Hayden. He has been working so hard on his bowling and I am very happy for him. We wanted to win 5-0. but we will take 4-1. Leadership is tough. It's tough when there's a lot of info to guide. You don't know what is right at times. It was a good learning for me. I am happy and thankful for the info shared. I learnt different things and got to see the game from a captain's point of view. Can't single out anyone. So many T20 greats out there. Trevor Penny works so much off the field. Happy for the group.
Hayden Walsh Jr | Player of the Series: Hard work is paying off. I have just been patient and when I get the opportunity, just run with it. The guys are happy to win 4-1. We were down against South Africa, but this series was quite good. This series I will hand it to Allen, but the next series I am definitely going to be up there.
Hayden Walsh Jr. is awarded the Player of the Series award. He picked 12 wickets at an average of 12 with an economy of 7 in five matches.
Aaron Finch | Australia Skipper: Mitch Marsh stood out at his first opportunity at No. 3 and the way he bowled as well. Our bowling has been pretty decent too, we haven't backed it up with the bat. There are some guys in there with not much of international experience and it's not easy. I am not critical of them. Evin Lewis played a hell of a knock. Winnings would have been nice, but we gave got some information and positives to take from this series.
Evin Lewis (MOM): "I stayed still and watched the ball onto the bat. Always good to contribute to a win. I've been working extremely hard from 2017 to now. [This series] means a lot to me, when you score runs against these teams you feel very good. It's good for us, we have a lot of confidence going into Pakistan but want to keep playing smart cricket."
Evin Lewis is awarded the Player of the Match award for his blistering innings of 79 off just 34 balls.
Time for Presentations.
Akshay: Pooran won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision paid off for the hosts as they got off to a flying start. Lewis was sensational as he was ruthless, hitting Aussie bowlers all around the park. His partner Andre Fletcher’s struggles in the series continued as he was cleaned up by Zampa in the fifth over. Gayle took on Zampa from ball one as he raced to 21 until he was dismissed by Swepson. This didn’t affect Lewis as he kept finding the fence regularly. He brought up his half-century in no time. Simmons struggled for timing but Pooran’s arrival helped the hosts keep scoring at above 10 runs per over. Lewis’ onslaught came to an end in the 11th over. He departed for 79 off just 34 balls. The innings comprised of 9 huge sixes. Australia pulled back things in the death overs restricting West Indies just below 200. Tye was impressive picking three wickets for the visitors. Zampa and Marsh picked two scalps each.
