Arya: Earlier in the day it was Jonty Rhodes who won the toss and put the hosts in. It was a trademark start from Sachin Tendulkar as he collected two back to back boundaries to start off proceedings. A punch down covers and a crisp straight drive by the "Little Master". India build a strong partnership courtesy SRT and Subramiam Badrinath after the fall of Sehwag's wicket early. Tendulkar looked in ominous touch and stroked his way to a knock of 60 of just 37 deliveries and in the end it was carnage from Yuvraj Singh who turned the match on it's head. The southpaw remained unbeaten on 52 of 22 deliveries which was studded with 2 fours and 6 sixes. It was his brutal knock which took India past the 200 mark and it proved to be way too big in the end for the Proteas.
Arya: That's the end of the match and India Legends romp to a convincing victory by 56 runs. The chase proved to be way too much in the end and despite a brilliant opening stand from Morne van Wyk and Andrew Puttick gave them a realistic chance to chase the target down. However some exceptional piece of bowling and fielding by the India Legends ensured that they made a grand comeback and coasted to a convincing victory.
