Anurag D: Islamabad United skipper, Shadab Khan on that loss: Our first loss but we have learned a lot in the last three games. We weren't learning from our batting errors and I had said in the last match that if we keep repeating errors we won't always win. This was a 160 pitch, if we had got that, it would have been difficult for them to get. It's T20 cricket, there are 120 balls, we played too many shots at times. We should learn from Shoaib bhai, how he played and bat like that next match. I thought the spinners will grip well (on why he took off Wasim and Hasan Ali).
Anurag D: Man of the moment, Haider Ali on that amazing victory: It's good batting with Shoaib bhai, he explains the plan to me well.The confidence is natural, but I'm not over-confident (on his hitting a six first ball). I shouldn't have been out with three runs to get, which is why I was upset with myself. The coaches have helped me a lot, explained my role to me.
Anurag D: Haider Ali played a nice cameo of 36 off a mere 18 deliveries before being dismissed with only three runs to chase. He looked confident and took the pressure of Shoaib Malik who was struggling to time the ball properly.
Anurag D: Chasing 119 on a flat wicket, Zalmi's got off to a poor start as they lost both the openers cheaply. However, the veteran Shoaib Malik, along with Tom Kohler-Cadmore, took the game to the opposition and put the pressure back on them. Cadmore in particular looked in good nick and was dismissed after a well compiled run-a-ball 46.
Anurag D: That's it, the match has ended and Peshawar Zalmi have won this match with 6 wickets remaining. Scintillating performance by Wahab Riaz and his men as they have decimated Islamabad United. That's three wins on the trot and it takes them to the top of the table.
