Player Bio

Born and brought up in Porbandar, Jay Odedra is a professional Omani cricketer who made his List A debut for the Omani national team back in February 2018 against Canada in World Cricket League Division 3.

With Oman regaining ODI status in April 2019, Jay made his ODI debut against Papua New Guinea on August 14th, 2019 just 5 months after making his T20I debut against Ireland in February 2019.

A talented all-rounder, Jay’s potential was hard to ignore and with just a handful of games under his belt, he was named in Oman’s T20 World Cup squad. Yet to feature in any professional matches since February 2020, he would be hoping to make a comeback with solid all-round performances in the T20 World Cup.
