Player Bio

Rebecca Tyson, also known as Bex, is a street-smart orthodox left-arm spinner. The 2000-born has made even the smartest of batters look stupid through her guile and flight.

Tyson made her county debut in 2015 for Hertfordshire in a match against Leicestershire.

In 2023, she was the joint-highest wicket-taker across the entire women's T20 Cup competition. The spinner took 12 wickets in the tournament.

Interestingly, the left-arm spinner has even played for the now-defunct Southern Vipers team under the 'Pay As You Play' contract.

Apart from playing cricket, Tyson is also an active coach as well. She is a full-time Development Coach at the Indoor Cricket Centre at the Lord’s Cricket Ground and has experience in coaching across all ages and abilities. Notably, she has been working for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) since 2018.

As of 2025, Tyson plays for Hampshire in county cricket while she is part of the London Spirit franchise in The Hundred.
