Known for her aggressive batting approach, Dhara Gujjar is an all-rounder hailing from Bengal. The 20-year-old represented Bengal Senior Women’s team in the domestic circuit.

In the 2021-22 Senior Women's One-Day Tournament, the young lass became the center of attraction for cricket enthusiasts when the southpaw impressed everyone with her master-class century against Himachal Pradesh Women and helped her side win by a mammoth 200 runs margin. The young gun was the 4th highest run-getter in the tournament.

The Bengal-born came into the headlines when Mumbai Indians (MI-W) roped her in for the base price of INR 10 Lakhs during the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction in February 2023. This was a dream come true for the young cricketer, who had worked tirelessly to improve her skills and make a name for herself in the sport.

With her selection in the MI-W squad, the prodigy has earned herself the opportunity to showcase her skills on a bigger stage and make a mark in the Indian cricketing landscape. With experienced players like Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt in the MI unit, Gujjar will have the chance to learn from some of the best and elevate her game to the next level.
