Player Bio
Born on June 17, 2002, Mayank Yadav is a specialist right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter from Delhi. He recently made his List A debut for Delhi in the 2021 season of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) and is yet to be tested in various conditions.
Before making his debut, the bowling all-rounder was playing Division A tournaments organized by DDCA. After brilliant performances there, Yadav got the opportunity to represent Delhi in VHT. He has the ability to swing the ball both ways and that’s what makes this young man very special.
Yadav made his debut against Haryana in VHT in Chandigarh where he picked 3 wickets and was very accurate with his line and lengths. The Delhi born and bred went on to play another game in that season where he bagged a three-for against Saurashtra. Overall, it was a great outing for the Delhi-based bowler in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) in the initials of his career.
Impressive performance in the List A encounters has now opened the doors for Yadav to showcase his talent in the grandest T20 league, as he has been bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the base price of INR 20 lakhs.
