A right-hand middle-order batter and an efficient stumper, Matilda Bryant-Lugg is a professional Australian cricketer for Sydney Sixers Women. Born and brought up in New South Wales, she features for the Meteors side in the Women’s National Cricket League.
After joining the ACT Meteors prior to the start of the 2018-19 WNCL season, Matilda didn’t get an opportunity to showcase her skills and travelling with the squad for over a season, she finally made her debut in the 2019-20 WNCL season and went on to make four appearances in total that season.
Prior to the start of the seventh edition of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), the youngster was signed by Sydney Sixers. Yet to make an appearance in the premier tournament, Matilda would be looking to learn and grow alongside the top-flight cricketers present in the Sixers squad.
